Because...
SWL
Question:

How is it your Bobs aren't braking in Turn 3 and S/F line? This has always been a big problem at Indy track?

It's the third last question and nobody has answered it, figured i'd make a more direct thread as I can't be the only one with this massive problem and nobody here seems keen on giving an answer anyway 💡

Seriosuly, if we can't make new threads, why don't you just make sub-forums within sub-forums that covers everything and then take away our privileges to make new threads? You must think that's a great idea.

The over mod'ing on some forums, sheesh.. I swear if I see a thread asking the same question in a year I will refer to this thread as well. I mean.. It's there.. Use it.. No need to make a new one right? [/RANT]

Was wondering if the people using the FGT changed anything about the tuning.

I changed the top speed to 390km/h from 360km/h (3 clicks for imperial)

But i just won with 1 lap ahead. Other people using the FGT won with 8 laps ahead without paying attention.

I went with 410 and setting brakes to 1/1, because for some reason Bob still brakes for the turns >_>
And max downforce and some camber to have a high cornering speed.
With Pit Stop strat off my Bobs easily won 5-10 laps ahead without me doing anything.

How long does this race take? I know it says 500 miles but was wondering what be the time if I was to use a X1....

Okay, a little help here too. I would also like to complete the B spec Indy 500 the easy way and letting them do their stuff. I was going to use the X1, can i literally set a few drivers away and just come back 'X' hours later having done nothing? and won? do they refuel automatically? etc

They will pit and refuel automatically and with the X1 will win with a considerable margin......BUT , here's what happened to me yesterday.

I decided to do the Indy with the X1 as well. I sent 4 Bobs ranging from level 31 to 33 in to do the task. All was going well , I'd check every half hour to see where they were at , 90 minutes in they were 24 laps ahead or something ridiculous. Nice !

But then I noticed at around lap 150 , after pitting , the pit indicator would come on as they completed the first lap of their driving stint and yes , they were pitting after only 2 laps. Their physical and mental levels were okay , certainly not depleted and obviously tyres and fuel were fine.

So I had to nurse my last 2 Bobs home for about 50 laps , constantly over riding the pit indicator for the last part of the race.

I've never had this happen before so I'm hoping it was a one off glitch. Just something to be aware of I guess. That and they were all crashing into the back of the other cars regularly too , probably due to the big difference in speeds between the X1 and the other cars. My Bobs aren't usually that bad at driving !

A fully modded Mazda Furai will win it with the right settings and the right amount of button-mashing the commands. I won it by about 30 seconds after slowing down my driver at the end to save some fuel.
