Ok, so what is the exact relation between my overall B-spec level and my driver's level(s)?

Until just now I thought that the B-spec level would reflect the cumulative experience points that any of my drivers collected (counting xp's only once, if 2 drivers share a win). This worked out fine with what I saw in the game, because my first driver participated in all my b-spec events so far.

Now, after winning the last race (1 driver race), my b-spec level went up (still 22), and my driver's level also went up...to 23???

How can I have b-spec level 22 and one of my drivers 23? To me, that seems logically impossible.

If you have only one B-Spec driver and that driver has accumulated all of your B-Spec XP thus far, and the levels are as you describe... then logically the only conclusion is that the B-Spec DRIVER XP levels differ from the B-Spec PLAYER XP levels

That would be logical, as you can accumulate experience with different drivers. But it's the wrong way round. My driver can not have a higher level than my overall b-spec level...but it does.

I think that the XP for the driver and the XP for you are slightly different. I'm level 33 in B-spec right now, and have a level 31 driver. I think that early on you pretty much match but when you get to the higher levels it becomes more of a gap.

He CAN... it requires less XP to level a Bob than it does for us to level.

I am at 33 (on the cusp of 34) in total B-Spec level yet I have a driver at 35. Four of my other drivers are 20+, it's reasonable to assume that had I used a single Bob for ALL the B-Spec races he would be very close to (if not at) 40.

It seems, as I said, that less XP is required for Bob to level-up than for the player to level-up.

XP requirements for us and the Bobs are the same as far as I can tell. Because the races you do for the lower levels all have a max of 1 Bob, there is the same experience on offer for Bob as there is for you.

But when the race can have 2 Bobs the amount of experience on offer for the Bobs is doubled, but you get the normal amount. So if you enter just 1 bob, he gets twice as much XP as you. If you enter 2 Bobs then they split the XP according to how many laps they have done (I think I noticed this behaviour, if not then it's split equally).

👍 Well done.

OT I know (and certainly nothing to do with this thread), but I wish more people would make it known when they are mentioning aspects of the game that they suspect but haven't been confirmed. There is so much conjecture and misinformation floating around here that it's hard to get straight answers about most things. Thanks for being honest :)
