Bob's been grinding a long time to get to B-Spec level 21, just to realize that the fully tuned Pagani Zonda R '09 isn't any good for the Like the Wind races. I'm not sure yet how he'd do in NASCAR, so I didn't bother finding out yet. Would he do good, although all the cars are the same? What about Like the Wind, what car would be appropriate? Are there any races in Extreme (kinda dumb you can't even check the requirements for the races before you reach the required level) that the Zonda would be enough overpowered for Bob to win? I'd really like to win Like the Wind, because of the Toyota 7 prize, so sooner or later I'll need a car for it.

Get the Minolta Toyota by winning Like the Wind A-Spec and then do B-Spec. Zonda won't be enough.
NASCAR series only require you to pace him down because if you don't, he will spin out and burn the tyres... eventually pit. Opponents will become slower in the last few laps because they will be sliding all over the place.

So even if he's lvl 21, should he win NASCAR? I'm sure there's a thread on this, but is there any good strategy so that he'll win the race in the NASCAR?

I have no idea what levels they are but my B-Spec team have won every event except the 2 24 hour races ,give them a good enough car (this isn't even needed Nascar was won in a unmodded car ,some others probably were too).

Do you have the latest GT5 patch? Reason I ask is because before I patched my game I used the Zonda R on Like the Wind and I would kill the AI drivers till my tires would go away then I had to pit and would lose. However after I installed the patch it seems that PD tweaked the tire wear issue and now Its zero problem for my Bob or I to beat Like the Wind with the Zonda R. Tire wear was the reason Bob and I couldnt win in Like the Wind with the Zonda R before the patch.

Edit: At the time I beat Like the Wind my Bob was level 28.

Focus on the other events till you can get the FGT. Then you will absolutely walk it.

Yup, this is the best car for quick credits and grinding plus it walks Like the Wind. I find BSpec incredibly boring, but it helps credits. So I just saved up for the F1GT and used it in as many races as possible, along with the Minolta Toyota.

I have yet to bother 24 hr races ,,but did the grind to get 35 and a Vettel ...now I retired all old Bobs and have new bunch with two ready for axe --seems to get usefull lvl 40 Bob requires 24 hr race ,,or you full xp bar and they degrade ,,I keep one old Bob to spam credits while I watch tv ...The others just get endurance 9 hour --see how this goes to get a 40 .

Trade somebody in the marketplace for an X1. Alot of them arent looking for super rare cars. I traded a dupe of my 908 for a x1, then i traded a NSXR prototype race car for one. I got a white one and then a S.Vettel one.

Should be able to win it. My Bob won it at 15, but it takes some babysitting.

True, but nothing too complicated. Lowered the car a bit, and I think I adjusted for a little more turn-in (added .05 on the front toe setting, if I remember right), and more downforce.

Exactly lower car to -15 F/R

Max downforce

330kph on smaller tracks and 380kph for Daytona and Indy

and Babysit because he will smoke the tires.

bob will win the nascar but watch his tires. i found that out on the seconed to last lap lol

Good tip, thanks. 👍 My Bob's are generally too scared to overtake and too dumb to draft when necessary [they're levels 22-26]. I'll try the pace-down-and-no-pit strategy.
