What does it mean when that little arrow next to your driver is pointed down? Is that bad?

What does it mean when that little arrow next to your driver is pointed down? Is that bad?

That means his mood is low. I haven't seen any hard data to suggest that his performance suffers by this, but best to use another driver for a bit. The arrows do fluctuate - if you use the same driver a lot, it will go orange after a while, if you don't use him for a while it can still go orange - but I've found that by alternating drivers occasionally it does affect the mood gauge.

Orange down arrow means the bob certainly will perform below his real level of capability, he will be very slopy in maneuvering the car, will generally be slower than usual and be more likely to make silly mistakes that will cause him to spin out and possibly even come to complete stop in the middle of, or off the track.

Green bob is good bob, Blue bob is best bob.

If he will make these kinds of mistakes then he will have to be at the hottest point on the bar in a race - else he will just drive as slow as always. He makes the most mistakes when he's hot. It's just exaggerated slightly by the mood bar - which is why it's not always a good idea to run him so hot, whether he's in a good mood or not he will still make mistakes if he's hot.

A few times, i have run a blue bob constantly hot for a whole race, and they have been clean effortless wins without fault.

Tho sometimes when you do this he will still make one or two minor mistakes, with an orange bob, if you try to run him hot for too long, he will be likely to end the race at the back of the pack.
