Highest you can get is 10,000 b-spec skill points - i have (roughly) 7500 cant remember exact - will edit my post tomorrow when i find out !

I have 10,000 B-Spec points, skills are 100/100/100. It took roughly 2000 miles to max them if I remember correctly. However, that was all in family cup, specifically designed to max out B-spec.

It's a method of "training" your B-Spec driver systematically.

I haven't done it yet. My high mileage is merely because we leave B-Spec Bob on all the time (enduro races) just to make money. :)

to beat this game you should only need to achive about 80 points in each field, IE ~80 machine points, ~80 course points, ~80 battle points.

this is an about number because bspec racing also requires alot of other factors! people can do it with lower some will require higher because of their low skills.

-you will need to activly manage your racer... this is required for a few courses for sure! by lowering the speed before tight corners(turns) so that your guy doesnt go off the road.

-you will also need to tune your cars! tune so that your car wont go off the road and turn better... get better acceleration on tracks with lots of turns, and higher top speed for tracks with more strait aways... tune the LSD so your driver makes better turns at faster speeds (and better turns overall). brakes is huge part, not to much brake power cause that will make you unstable, especially at high speeds.

this is all esential parts to managing your driver.... not only that but you will need to train your drive to achive better scores.

i made a tutorial for this, check it out at www.gamefaqs.com in the gt4 section! its not the best but it will help most.

I still don't understand how you get B-spec skill points. I've never used it, yet I have a fair amount. Does anyone know why?

Ar you sure you've absolutly never used it becasue you start off with zero, so you must gave at one point done a b-spec race to rack up a few points

Frankly, if I have to put that much effort into a race, I'd rather be driving it myself. There is NO way I'd sit and "actively manage" my B-spec driver for 24hours, or 8hrs if you speed it up.

Skill... something like 7,096/97/78/59 at 1,876miles (he's done the 1000miles, and a couple of other races, and that's it.)

Nope, I've intentionally never used it--I even have zero miles listed on my Status page. I first noticed these skill points after I completed the El Capitan enduro, even though I did it all in A-spec.

truthfully... you would only have to manage your car to first place, wich for most would be only a short time, and then you can lower your settings to anywhere from 1 to 3 depending on the track and it should be fine. your car would pit for you whenever you needed it, and with that high of a score it shouldnt be a problem... of course this would require a tuned and upgraded car most likly (well in some cases, definatly not all).

while you think you have to do this through the whole race its just not true.... i mean if u want good times yes, and if you havented tuned your car you would also have to do this to keep up.

enjoy the info, do with it what you want.
