Has anyone else had problems with this endurance race? All the A.I. cars are using racing medium tyres in the rain an spinning out non-stop and my b-spec guy wants to pit in every lap so he can change tyres to something else other than rain tyres, but if he doesn't use the rain tyres he spins-out when he floors it around corners or does fishtails. Also noticed the tyres wear out pretty fast after as well, my b-spec has only used a quarter of a tank of petrol an already needs new tyres.

I noticed this at about the 80th lap, now i have to watch the rest of the race to stop him from changing tyres.

Hmm, sounds strange. Currently im running my 2nd 1000 km on Suzuka but both had been with the X2010. But my driver havent been tempted to change tires, only when the track was dry and he were running on rain he would, but nothing like you describe.. :dunce:

If its Raining I exit and re-enter the Race till its Dry , saves a few Wasted hours .

Got that as Tip from someone in this section .

Yeah BOB is dumb he did the same to me in the dream car series on the nurb 24 track. He changed tires every lap. I started him in rain tires because it was raining and then he wanted to pit right away and changed to racing inter. The on the next lap he wanted racing soft. What a joke. lol.

I've seen my guys do this on a couple of occasions and the 1st time at Suzi I wondered what was going on... Race softs on the FGT in the wet should be a nightmare... But then they went 4s a lap faster so I just shrugged my shoulders and chalked it down as another glitch in the tyre physics... Much like race softs lasting longer than hards in an endurance.

Driver experience didn't seem to make any difference either as I put 2 of my low level drivers out and they both managed to get the FGT round on slicks in the wet.

Yes I've had this problem before. The thing is, when bobs pit, the driver changes. So while one might like inters and pits in for that, the driver that then gets in that car might not like inters and might prefer full wets, so he will pit in for full wets, but the driver gets changed again and so on.

The solution is to keep the same driver when the pit menu comes up.

Good info grb! :D

I've tried this 10+ times and its still raining. I've even gone as far as driving a while, exiting, starting a different race and coming back.

How many times you need to enter and exit?

Most i've had to Enter and Exit is 3

So you're actually starting the race, then backing out all the way to the home screen?

You don't have to actually start the race. Just load the track.
When you're at the menu that allows you to set the driving options, tune your car, start the race etc., it'll either rain or not. If it does, exit and reload the track.

So far, whenever I started in the dry, it didn't rain thoughout the race, at all.

Thanks for the reply guys, after 20 laps the A.I. stopped spinning out so i put racing medium tyres on my car but did notice that if bob or the A.I. move 1mm from cool they will spin-out. they where spinning out so bad that the Honda arta nsx (super gt) '06 got stuck at the red, green and white tyres near the end of the track for 78 laps lol. Just wish PD added a fast forward option to replays so i could take a pic of the car that got stuck.

I have started a 2nd run on the track they are up to lap 153 and none of the cars are banged up, bob isn't spinning out using racing hard tyres. the car i am using is the Mazda 787b stealth model. It must of been a glitch were it's still raining but the game forcing the cars to not use rain tyres.
