Wow some of you guys are great. I've been playing for 2 days and I've only reached level 12.
Anywhoo... I was trying to get through the licensing and experience levels when I thought I'd try B-Spec.... IS THIS JUST WATCHING YOUR DRIVER RACE? I lost interest and gave up, I found it very boring, I bought this game to race!

My question is : Do I have to go through this B-Spec to gain points/experience or can you skip/ignore it?

What's the deal?

I don't believe you HAVE to do anything. B-Spec is being the pit crew chief. You can tell them to speed up, over take, etc. They race your car, and earn you money.

B-spec isn't a bummer - its a cash cow that earns you money while you work/read/sleep, etc. Give your AI a sure-win car like a Veyron and let it rake in the money while you read War and Peace - there is no better way to win.

Plus, you get cool prize cars like the Mazda FURAI (say it!) and Pagani Zonda R '09.

The car and driver will win by themselves?

I thought I saw 4 options that pop up say, accelerate, slow, something else and overtake? So I don't have to do anything? just let the AI do it's stuff?

Okay I guess, I can try that.

It's a nice way to have the car earn you money easily..

If the car is fast enough you can win without even looking at the screen, asking him to overtake ect.

If the car aint faster than the others you will need to ask him to speed up / overtake ect.
At least thats what i've seen so far (but I'm only level 4 or 5 currently)

Yep if the car your b-spec driver uses is considerably faster he will win without any intervention whatsoever :), Just like mine right now as I type this infact :D

I'm not sure I'd trust the AI to drive my Corvette. I mean I don't even allow my father, mother, wife and brothers drive my Corvette in RL. How could I trust a computer to drive it?

Because there is no damage in the game.
Ha, thats funny, the rear bumper of my '10 Camaro begs to differ, the AI clipped a corner and spun backward into a wall, I'll post the pics I took later.
