I remember this being discussed, but, if b-spec pits and I throw it into A-spec mode and drive for a while and throw it back into B-spec, will the pitting require my imput after that? Or will it just pit automaticly like it did in B-spec?

Today I started an endurance race in B-Spec to see if the driver would enter & leave the pits on his own. He did enter on his own, took on fuel & tires, but then just sat there like a moron `till I clicked on OK. Unless I did something wrong(very possible), it appears you`ll have to babysit the fat idiot B-Spec driver. Yay.

This brings up another interesting topic: the manual. Is it just me, or was that thing totally LAME. Basically no point including it. They could have just put the driving school stuff in, think about all the money they'd have saved by only printing half as much. That thing is just so pointless, it pisses me off! And it's not even correct (the whole x5 business)!

Sure, it's nice to figure stuff out in game and be surprised and all, but it's also nice to have a reference there when you need it. For instance, what's with all the skill levels for B-spec, and the orange arrows? Would have been nice for them to answer that in there, instead of having everyone beat around the bush for a while trying to figure it out!

What do the orange arrows mean, does that mean that the car is trying to overtake the car thats infront of it?

Actually if your driver pits and you dont press OK eventually it will automatically start with the settings you have. So really you can leave him by hisself, the only thing is that pits will take longer when you dont press ok because there giving you time to make a decision so you only have to watch your driver when the second place car his like less than a lap behind you.

Cool! I assumed he`d just keep sitting there, like this> Thanks!

Please forgive me if this has been posted before but I dont think I have the whole search thing mastered yet.

In the instruction book for the game it says that you can accelerate the time for B-Spec up to 5x's. My question is; Is there a code that needs to be used, because I can only go 3x's??

If there is a thread that already exists for this topic it would be greatly appreciated if I could get the link...

It think it's talking about the actual cars speed in the manual.(That goes up to 5x) But the actual speed of the race only goes up to 3x.

Get it?

I've read here on the forums that if a car has a red arrow above it, it means that that car completed a faster sector than the car in front of it, ie. it's catching up.

I was wondering what they were too 👍

Yes, that is most likely a defect in the game if you can only go to x3 while racing because I have the North American Version and I can go to x5 on mine. It can also be a misprint in the game manual.

Can't be. I've used the F1 car in the slowest race possible, going 200mph+ while everyone else is only doing around 150mph, and one of the cars behind me will have the little red arrow and not me. Just figure it must be for entertainment purposes only.

typo. ive found a lot of other typos too, but they are just misspellings. its in the scrolling text at the bottom where a lot of errors are.
