So I am working on completing the B-Spec amatuer series. Last race Nostalgia series. I am using a 1970 Challenger Fully tuned and tweaked. All the other cars seem to be a Lambo and such.

Has anyone else noticed that with this car you really seem to be right there on top of it the whole time!!! What I mean is this. One of the other races I used the Citroen Concept 08. I did nothing and he smoked the race by like 30 seconds or more.

It seems that on this one I have to constantly communicate to the driver to get him thru the race to get the win.

Does anyone have any pointers to win these races so I can be a fat lazy SOB so I don't have to communicate with the driver and just let him win? Or is this really part of the B-Spec?

It seems like some races I don't have to do anything, but others it seem like I have to babysit.

Noob and thanks....

The Bspec drivers are inherent idiots. The best way for me is just to give him a crazy overpowered car and then sit back while he wins (x1?).for harder challenges that u actually have to try in, i try to get him to the front early on and then repeatedly spam, "hold pace". They just loooove to spin out on east turns though, and sometimes he will just have a terrible race and you have to restart. keep at it till it works, I say

BTW, I completed the amatuer challenge with some babysitting. The last 1 and 1/2 laps I pushed and pushed and he won. So I think I got the level 9 ticket. It unlocekd a 03 aston martin from what I could tell.

But still looking for advice on future races.

Thx again,

Noob

You have to watch the icon in every B-spec driver. Sometimes, the icon is a blue arrow pointing upward, which means that he is in a good mode and will do well in a race. If it is an orange arrow pointing downward, then you have to babysit him or sometime use another driver. Because he is in a bad mode or something and will really loose a race even if he is using a great car. I had a problem with one of my B-spec driver on one of the Expert mode races, the Super car festival. The Nurg race wherein my driver is in first place the first few laps, then he spun out on one of the turn and just stop until all the cars passed him by. It's really frustrating seeing him do nothing.
