Backing Up My GT5 Game on to a Flash Drive

I have heard many people talk about saving their game on a flash drive so if the game data somehow gets corrupted then they can just reload it back on the Playstation 3 can someone give me step by step instructions on how to do this. Thank you.

If you mean about saving your progress data on a storage media

Just backup the saves, if you're also into saving replays & pictures(Since they're part of the Game Data and not Save Data) and wanting to keep them. Back those up too, but mostly the save data is important to backup out of everything. Your choice, though.
