Backup then gift car then restore savegame

Hi, I've never traded any cars but now that I have a decent collection I would like to start trading, but I have one question, can I:

1. Backup my savegame.
2. Gift a car to someone else.
3. Restore my savegame so that I, along with the person I gifted to, both have the car.

Is this process possible? If so, I might start to dip my toes into the marketplace forum.

Very possible.
Also If you have 5 mill credits for example, you can buy 1 FGT every day.
Save 5 mill (to memory stick). buy car, send car, reload 5 mill (from memory stick).

It's known as duping (duplicating) and everyone seems to be in on it. It's against the spirit of thing, but hey, who cares!
