I'm sure Amazon.com will have it for pre-order eventually.

Unfortunately, that won't be in the cards for U.S. Gran Turismo fans - the Gran Turismo 5 Signature Edition is exclusive to the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Greece, The Czech Republic, Russia, Poland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, The United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

Which means that the only choice for U.S. fans of Gran Turismo that want the ultra-amazing Signature Edition - is to import it. 👍

Until very recently, there was no competition. And in many cases, there still isn't - and a business with no competition is a business that doesn't have to compete, especially if funded by the public purse anyway.

They don't actually lose that many things compared to what they deliver. They deliver about a billion items a month and lose about a million. About 30m items a month are deemed "undeliverable" (poor, no or incomplete address). That's about a 99.7% rate of success which isn't bad at all.

But in the case of me looking after a £150 box for someone else and then sending it on to them, I'd rather use a dedicated courier service. And I'd rather only do it the once.

I don't think Royal Mail have ever lost anything for me - but Parcel Force on the other hand (The parcelling arm of Royal Mail) have lost a few things for me over the years...

I agree with your reticence on sending expensive items with Parcel Force.

Yes, Parcel Farce are quite poor - though I think I'd sooner use Farcel Force than Inter:censored:tyLink, who couldn't find their arse with GPS coordinates, never mind my front door. Except to teleport a "We missed you!" card through the door and request I travel 8 BILLION miles to their nearest depot to collect.

Inter:censored:tyLink are like your own personal concierge compared to Home Delivery Network, their depots have been proven to be located the furtherest possible distance from any inhabitation and that's a scientific fact!

Don't yall have UPS and FedEx over there?
I rarely use USPS for any kind of package.

Yep. UPS, FedEx and DHL. Which is probably what I'll use.

UPS, FedEx and DHL are awesome when it comes to signature deleveries - they go the extra mile, you know?

It's almost like if you request signature confirmation you cannot lose a package with those three carriers lol!
