Bad News,New Car

Ok ill tell you guys what happened.I got a 1989 Ford Musatng 5.0 from my dad for 200 dollars,the guy owed my dad money so he gave cheap,It so happens the Car is Stolen and the guy that sold it was a drug seller type dude,now i got my car taken away.A day,and im not ****ting you guys,a day later my dad has this other dude that owes him money,and this guy happens to have a Ford Mustang LX 1986,the engine is not ut together but brand new,and well my dad bought it for 100 dollars!!!,and now i got a 3 year oldermustang than i had,kinda screwed up huh??

My Car Info-
1986 Ford Mustang LX

it has a T-tops (only 500 made?) and a kinda nice body,and completely brand new engine (appearently the guy owed my dad some dough) what i love most is the t-tops and the engine,not as powerful,but 0 miles on it,all i need to do is buy a piston for it ,(the guy lost it alright) and put it together...

3.8 Liter V6 (232 cubic inch i think)
with aluminum heads

and the car has a automatic trannie,which bums me out,my 89 did :cry:,but atleast it has cool brand new suspension,and wheels.....

Why couldn't you keep the 5.0 though? who said that it was stolen?

the engine should push around 300-350 horses,my dad had an exact engine like 4 years ago,today in the process of putting the engine together,we found dents on the main bearings,and well,we need a piston too :rolleyes:,and the cam is ****ed!!!!

should i overhaul my current engine,or buy this engine this guy is offering to me,and put my SVO aluminum heads on it???
hes charging me 250 for the engine and a mercury cougar (parts for my stang,like wheels etc..)
 
ive got a 3.8 buick in my car, its got around 250 at the moment but its fuel injected. im thinking of fitting a blower at some stage or putting a warm carbi 308 in it.

anyway mate, have fun with ya car!
 
thanks bro,i love my 4-barrel on my 3.8,i can adjust the fuel/air mixture,but i gots to try it when i get it built :D

Hey first off, the 3 is my dad's, not mine, and it's awsome. The cheapest car to maintain....it's a classic.
 
Dude!!, I got low profile tires today for free,cause my dad is a tire man/mechanic.Little 14 inchers with low profile tires=oh fun!!
