Just giving everyone a heads up from a newly registered member. Tried to post a winning setup for someone on the forum -- Said the first post needed to be reviewed by a mod -- Understandable. 2 Hours later and my post still isn't up isn't understandable. It's ridiculous. Good luck running a decent site like that.

Just my two cents, like anybody elses.

Er, the first post you ever made on this board is just now 30 minutes old. So that doesn't help the argument much. Also... this time of year is kind of known for busy social lives. The staff do have other important matters outside of the board around this time. We get to the queue as soon as we can.

I assume the rush is because of what's on offer... which is probably why you took someone else's advice for winning the NASCAR B-Spec race, copied it word for word, and pasted it, with no mention of the original source.

There's a queue for new posters, it can take anywhere from minutes to a couple hours for a post to get approved. There's a lot of new users every day, and only a couple handfuls of Mods.

EDIT: Damn you Slipz....

It's the same for every new member, dude.

And with "billions" of new members registering in GTP every day, all trying to post, it takes the staff more time than usual to sort through everything (which is only part of what they have to do around here), so bear with them.

If you're just a bit more patient with your situation, I guarantee it'll be rewarding to stick around and enjoy everything this community has to offer. 👍

EDIT: tree'd... twice
