It might be as Duke mentioned that 99% used the system we had just fine. It seems that what should have happened is punish the ones who abused the system rather than take it away from us. It might have been five or so users that caused a thousand active users not to have the reputation system. They didn't care to begin with so they don't care if its gone. It looks like the rest of us do.

I would have to say I agree...

I wasn't a fan in the beginning, not really caring that is, but seing as I'd managed to get almost half way to the badge, I was trying to improve (as much my mental power can manage) - I'll still do that, but it was nice see where one made way...

I agree that individuals should have been punished rather than it getting removed entirely. Maybe a review of the system as a whole should have been put to a public vote.

Then again - Afterall - GTP isn't a democracy but the ultimate Dictatorship :-)
 
Even if it is a very benevolent dictatorship. ;)

Since Jordan has indicated it's time to stop beating this deceased equine, I'm closing this thread. The basic points have all been made, and heard.
