Bands i hate:-

All hip hop/r n b/gangster/rap/dance/trance/drum n bass music

Bloc party - they suck big time

Finch - "ooh luk at us we're emo" <---- errr dont think so

Green Day - omg everyone likes these am i the only person that doesnt, i hate their teen/pop/rock style. They are played way tooo much on the radio as well --- it seems that every other song on nowadays is green day

Good Charlotte/Simple Plan - C'mon anyone who likes these neeeeeds to be shot they are just awful

The Blood Brothers - Do i need to explain

Coldplay - I cant stand them. They are soooo depressin. Also everyone seems to like them n annoys me that they cant come up with a good enough reason as to why they like them

ps had the facts and the passion for manson's music and hatekore is ignorant to others tastes and really just sits at home and listens to sewer (basic metal with vocals that sound like toilets)

PS - Could you please edit your post on Page 7 to disclude HATEKORE's name as he obviously doesn't wish to have it posted on the site. Also, I know you're only trying to prove a bunch of points, but try to keep it to the topic at hand: naming the bands you dislike and the reasons you don't. Whether they are factually correct or incorrect, it's all part of each person's opinion.

HATEKORE - Claiming to know a certain moderator without intending to tell of their name creates suspicion, when this moderator obviously does not want to be part of the conversation. Knowing a moderator outside of GTPlanet does not mean you will get any special or privelaged treatment over other members. Also, Marylin Manson is not generally referred to as Metal. It's more Industrial/Hard Rock than anything else. ;)

As for the bands I dislike:
  • Good Charlotte and Simple Plan are terrible. The whole angsty teenage pop-punk genre is irritating me to no end. Blink 182 are just as bad.
  • Almost the entire old and new Punk genre. It ruined talented rock music and paved a way for bands consisting of members who could barely play their music. A good example of this was the Sex Pistols' bassist, Sid Vicious. They hired him to play bass because he looked alright, and they had to teach him to play bass because he had no idea. Seeing that I'm becoming more and more of a fan of talented music, these genres really have no appeal to me what-so-ever.
  • Emo is not appealing to me at all. Although you can't judge these things, I'm hoping it's a fad that will pass. Some of it just sounds horrible, and half of the time their voices don't blend with the music. Granted, there are some bands here that have talent, but the music they produce has zero-appeal to me.
  • Biohazard. Thanks for sparking half of Nu Metal. Jerks. :lol:
  • Post-Black Album Metallica. Load and Reload were Modern Rock. I didn't agree with the change of style into this genre, therefore I just don't like it. St. Anger was garbage. Lars hits a tin can, Kirk and James mash their guitars with no direction, and James lost his voice. Please quit Metallica. Please.
  • New Kids On The Block and following boy bands. Must I explain?

Godd*mn, I hate those bands as well. So annoying.
 
The only pop-punk band I can appreciate is the Offspring, they started the entire flood of crappy bands to be able to get airplay. Then again the Offspring isn't a pop-punk band, they just have a couple of singles that are poppy which aren't good.




By the way I think Metallica was good after the Black album as well. Granted, St.Anger was poop in the worst degree. It wasn't metal but loaded and reloaded are good music.... in my opinion anyway. I wouldn't buy the albums though, I won't spend a cent on Metallica, I don't like their attitudes at all. That's why I don't listen to them anymore either, the music is good but I can't listen to it.
