DOES NOT WANT

Oh god I just took a listen.

At least Architecture has a more unique style and relatively complex song writing compared to that Almost Here album from The Academy Is. I really couldn't find any similarities between the two bands before I had to turn it off..

Fall Out Boy.

...Oh and Stinking Park.

Hang on one minute, I thought you liked Linkin Park? After all you had the enormous poster of them on your wall didn't you? Or have times changed?

Also I hate...erm...probably any pop groups like Take That...

They've definitly changed :p

It's still there though, I just haven't got anything to replace the big space that would be there if I'd remove it :D I just need to get a hold of a Feeder poster or another Supra or something...

I liked Linking Park before, I used to listen to much harder stuff when I was younger, like Stinking Park, Metallica, Machine Head, etc. All that drives me crazy now, I'm keeping it quiter now, more indie-ish rock like Feeder 👍

Hmmm, I would say, my chemical romance, fall out boy, dashboard confessional etc...

As you can see basically any emo band is a band I hate.

Definitely on the same page.

Personally, "Cradle of Filth" makes me lose control of my bowels... That guy is the silliest cheesy black metal vocalist, or at least a close second.

;)

howz about Avril Lavigne and Beasty Boys?

i actually like Foo Fighters and Bowling For Zoup.

Edit: and i don't like Limp Bizkit either except: Behind Blue Eyes, which is technically The Who anyways.

Good on ya, I must admit, I've just exiled Linkin Park now too, I just find there music...well noise.

I'm much more into Indie/Rock now than ever before, especially Foo Fighters and the occassional Feeder song. But more Fooies than anything else (thus the reason why I bought a t-shirt with their name emblazoned on it), although I do like Kaiser Chiefs a bit.

Oh come on, how can you hate the Beastie Boys? They were one of the first white hip-hop/rock groups and had some really good songs, unlike the ones nowadays...

Totally agree mate.

The Beastie Boys put together some amazing music, not only their signature blend of hip-hop/rock madness, but a smooth funky instrumental album called 'The In Sound From Way Out!', or something along those lines.

I'm guessing the people who 'hate' them have heard maybe one or two songs max. People are far too quick to judge bands/musicians.

The censoring issue seemed to tarnish their reputation a bit. But, their music is definitely better compared to some other offerings out there.

Bands I hate?
Lots of todays Punk rock, or whatever you call it... And I don't like how Papa Roach turned into ... ugh.. Infest was best CD of theirs.

Hellyeah...why on earth would I want to listen to Redneck Metal/Death Country? I now hate Mudvayne because of it.

Hmm... let's start.

ADEMA. Why? They're just... emo noise. BEFORE YOU START FLAMING ME, search ADEMA on YouTube, and you'll know what I mean.

I have a lot more to name. I'm just too lazy to name them all because they don't come to mind as easily as adema.

(I enjoy LP... there older stuff anyways. There are some songs from LP that I just can't listen to.)

Don't hate (m)any bands, just some people who are so obsessed with their style of music they just can't listen to anything else...
(I'm not talking about any of you, just some narrow-minded friends of mine that :grumpy: me off)
Even if I like metal, I can listen to anything from reggae to psychobilly if I like the songs :boggled:

I don't like Slayer's guitar solos, the rest of it goes ok...

Well okay, I liked the first Linkin Park album, but after that they lost their BALLLS they still had on that album lol

Evanescene and Within Tempation and those hurt my ears for some reason, sorry, if I wanted to hear something like that I'd prefer old Nightwish with Tarja...

Most that I hear from the radio and MTV nowadays is poopoo, don't even want to go there...
or ok, MTV-rap is probbly the most horrible thing i've ever heard.. don't hear much GOOD rap unless you know where to look.
(yes there is some)

I second the hate of Linkin Park. That isn't music, it's noise.

I am a fan of linkin park. I much prefer the more gentle songs they make rather than when chester screams his head off though.

I DO hate Madina Lake, Metallica, limp bizkit (Fred Durst seems utterly talentless to me), and panic at the disco.

I hate 'The Feeling' and 'Scouting for Girls'. They're like the blandest girlie pop guitar bands since Savage Garden.

I hate Chris Cornell. Audioslave could've been something amazing, but he totally brought it down. No wonder the only songs I liked were recycled Rage riffs.
