Banner Ads: We have a problem

Just a heads up: the mobile phone ad (where it actually swings down into the forum, taking up most of the screen) is pretty obnoxious, and still keeps you from accessing certain links even after you press "close".

I swear I'll pay for GTP Premium soon, just let me do the Christmas thing first. :)
 
OK, you shouldn't see the Motorola one swing down any more - just static.
 
Off-topic but what ever: When will we get the X-mas decorations? I would want to see some changes soon. Thanks for fixing the Motorola add-thing. It did it to me too a couple of times.

There's an annoying popup that scrolls from left to center in the middle of my screen. Not sure how I can get it's address. I guess i'll try if I get it later on.

Some sort of thing with a really long word... picternetiemovie something or other. Upon rollover, it enlarges to take up the top quarter of the screen. It leads:

That looks like a pretty strange advertising campaign. I checked their banners, and it looks like none of them expand.

I missed the screenshot, as it rolled up before I thought of it.

Its continually loading and takes me about a half min to load each page on this website.
Like continual data transfer the whole time im on here.
 
I've contacted my ad providers to see if there is any other way to permanently block these floating ads. Let's keep our fingers crossed it's an easy fix, so I won't have to keep individually blocking these units.

That's our link-text ad provider, which appear only to guests. If you are a registered user and logged in to your account, they will not appear and you should not experience any trouble loading the pages.

And I get the kont..... thing that loads all the time, even when I am logged it, and each time something is wrong with the script or something, and I have to close an error message each time.

You can disable pop-ups from GTPlanet as well as the green Kontera links from the User Options in My GTPlanet.
 


It plays a sound, and is very annoying, i have the page still loaded and if someome tells me how to find the URL i can get that too
 
Speaking of ad's, anyone getting certain words in peoples posts linking to other sites? Or are these thoes green Kontrera thing's that Jordan mentioned in his post above that should only appear to guests that arn't logged in?

It doesn't really matter anyway, I just checked and I can turn them off in my profile, so I guess they are what Jordan was talking about.
