My friend gave me an old Banzai tuning magazine from November last year and I found this cool Levin in it. I liked the car so much that I decided to try and make it in GT4. But since I like Truenos more than Levins and because you can get the Trueno with a carbon fibre bonnet in GT4 I decided to use the Trueno instead. I've pretty much done everything i can to the cars aesthetics so here it is alongside the real thing.

Sorry about the magazine pics, i dont have a scanner so i just had to use my digicam :indiff:
What dya think? I even found the same wheels that the actual car had.

Should try Leven with photoshop
maybe you can put some decals like the real one

I didnt just attempt to replicate the look. The magazine had a page devoted to the car's specification so it's accurate right down to the camber angle. Of course the bhp in my car is a little more because the Shuichi Shigeno AE86 comes with 200bhp as standard whereas the one in banzai magazine had 145. Sorry The_Locust if you expected an aesthetic revamp. However, I did manage to find the exact same wheels. In the magazine it said that James Walker's AE86 had Volk TE37s but after looking even closer i noticed they also said 'RAY'S Engineering' on the opposite spoke so i looked under Ray's in the game and found em!

Heres the real wheels against the ones in gt4 for comparison:

just thought it would be quite a fun project to try and attempt to test drive a real car to the exact specification. (except for bhp)

What were they? I quite like the ones I already have since they are the same ones but i' quite interested in looking at others.

i thought the ones in rays looked more like those, but its silver :o ( i think its 1 of them in the last 5, in the rays selection, il try get a picture later

The wheels in the magazine are actually bronze. It's just the picture isnt v.good quality. I'll scan it in at my dads tomorrow and replace that one so it's a better quality picture. And if you look really closely you can just about see the Volk and Ray's logos on the real wheels too.

WOOOOO 100TH POST!

these wheels are the ones i reckon looks more like the real ones :)

the shape looks right but then they're seven spokes and aren't bronze like the actual TE37s. I'm a bit bored of this car now as I have finally got a Honda Civic SiR (EQ) in my favourite colour. It's in my avatar so i've started working on that now as it is actually my dream car. Thanks for the help anyway.
