Let's say you have about $150,000 to spend and want a supercar (this is hypothetical). There's the Viper, the Corvette, the 911, the R8 and the GT-R.

1. Corvette Z06
2. GT-R
3. Tie

They are all great. I love all of those cars, it's a very hard decision.

I'd honestly have none of those but between them I'd probably en up with a 911, though the viper and GT-R are EXTREMELY tempting
^ that. I'd take the GT-R.. And spend the ~50k at AMS. :sly:
I'll spend mine in sharkwerks... or just wait for the 991 turbo

Viper. Hands down. Love all the rest but theres just something about that Viper...

Assuming you mean the new one. I like all vipers though.

Viper, does not matter which. Between the ACR and the new base Viper, all the other cars are obsolete.

no its not, its a myth. ive owned one for almost 5 years and besides tires its not much more expensive than your normal sports car. $100 oil change every 6K miles and thats about it. major fluid changes arnt until 36K miles( most change way before that) on the new ones and that runs around $1K

Ive had my 2012 for almost 1.5 years now have 5K miles on it and ive spent maybe $300 in maintenance. thats 2 oil changes then mount and dismount of a set of front tires because of autocrossing. I got the tires for free from nissan but even if i didnt i would still be at about $800 which is not expensive for a 100K car

like i said only thing thats very expensive is tires as they are $2500 for a set of 4. If you dont track regularly they last a while probably 10-12K miles.. i go through a set of fronts maybe once a year and rears maybe every 1.5-2 years

130k ZR1 is not a "bargin".....

The original poster (JMoney689) specified what he meant by "Bargain Supercar of the Year."

Clearly, though, my money lands on a Winter Stars tuned Evo X. Because it exists. :ouch: SOMEDAY, it will. :sly:

That's a hard one, I think it would have to be the Viper. I do love the Corvette and the Audi though, the GT-R would come 4th and I'm only a minor fan of Porsche.

The Corvette ZR1 has a window on it's hood, and is made of plastic, so it's out.
The Porsche 911 is good but I liked the older one better, so it's out.
The Audi R8 is awesome but I don't like the off-balanced look of it, so it's out.

I'd take either the GT-R or the SRT Viper. That's very close.

Either the 911, GT-R or the R8. I would take pretty much every single European or Japanese super car over the American ones.
I'd most likely have the GT-R though.

Viper, just to make a statement against all the laws and taxes over here that caused our automotive landscape to be made up mostly of cars that have the word 'hybrid', 'blue', 'green' or 'eco in it.

The GTR is ridiculously expensive to maintain.

How so? I have one and the only big thing is a fairly expensive oil change. Ferrari and Lamborghini, etc. are way more expensive to maintain.
