I'll second this ... I bought the GT3 / PS2 pack myself. It's quite nice, I saved about $30. They also need to include a damn memory card though!! And a cupon for a wheel (:

Thats the new PS2 and GT4 PROLOGUE bundle package... they have another one for the gundam game and some other PS2 colors so just check out the article here:

This will be a nice package. By the time GT4 comes out in the USA, my PS2 will be worn and ready to be replaced by a new model. Might as well get the broadband pack for it as well.

I don't like that the power and eject buttons are original black. It looks stupid. There are a few other things about it that aren't quite right either.

Non-black PS2s are already for sale in several countries. Europe is the latest to get the silver version - although as LoudMusic points out, the controller ports and on/off switch and eject button are still black.

The silver PS2, this white PS2 and every other new PS2 has improved DVD playback and integrated IR for a DVD controller, but no iLink port, meaning if you buy a new PS2 for GT4, you can't do anything like the Dutch Driving Days anymore. Okay, so there's the internet connection, but it's not quite the same as played 5 other drivers in the same room...

Not direct PS2 to PS2 conection but any PS2 with the ethernet net adapter and a hub would make the task for linking all the home network.

IMO I like all the PS2 colors that have been released so far like the white, silver, yellow, etc.. I think there all awesome and I wish I could own them all

wasnt the i-link taken out and replaced with infra red or sommin. the new 5000 version ps2's are supposed to come with loads of "new" features.
