Has anyone played this game?! I went to see a movie tonight. While my girlfriend and her brother were getting the tickets.. I went into the game room.. and there stood the best arcade racing game i've ever played.. To make a long story short. This game was pretty fun, had decent graphics but it did lack a selection of cars. Although I was happy when I stumbled upon the Evolution VI. So i'm woundering... is this game out for anything other than arcade? I'm guessing not, but if it is... Its most likely to be ran on a modchipped system, correct?! If you have any info on where to get this game or find general information on it, please post it here!
 
I don't know which Battle Gear you're talking about but it's probably BG2 or BG3 since I think the first one came out without the Evo 6. I've played BG2 and BG3 and they're good fun as I'm sure you can vouch for. Regardless of which you played, YES you can get both on the PS2 and I think you need a mod chip for BG3 but you can buy BG2 for PAL. If you get the choice get BG3, it's much better in every way. You can probably get BG2 from EB or your local gaming store (I've seen it at mine). But you'll probably have to order BG3 from somewhere.

Thats quite alright, yes it was BG2 that I played. I went back today and played some.. Its kinda cool.. you can drift in that game.. I don't know if thats the point.. I though the point was to beat everyone else by driving better.. but the drifting is quite easier than GT3s is. Anyways.. I've checked and I can get BG3 from ebay.. but I have no earthly ideal how to mod my ps2 to play those games.. I guess I need to do a little search.
 
i hate Bg arcade cabinets, its all upright and everything is so tight. it sucks.

its like a friggin nascar, but with teeny tiny pedals. bleh.
