Anyone have some nasty battle wounds from playing GT5P?
Trying to save myself from spinning out, I recently bashed the fleshy part between my thumb nail right on the thin metal area of the G25.
Now I have a pool of blood under my nail AND I ended up spinning out...:dopey:

ewwww gross XD ummm think i bruised my knee when shifting down on my friends G25 XD apart from that just sore thumbs

You know how to get that out don't you? Heat up the end of a paperclip and then push through the nail with it. The blood then splurts out the hole and relieves the pressure. Its kind of fun but gross at the same time. Just remember to put the hole as far down the nail as possible so it takes less time to grow out. And of course the obligatory disclaimer that you would be crazy to take medical advice from someone on the internet.

Well I'm using R2 to accelerate, so my thumbs hurt from holding on to the base of the controller... ha.

I've had a few things bug me. I have a G25 in a race cockpit. First up was a sore lower back after 40 min in cockpit. thats mostly gone now, as I've become more 'race fit'. The position I have isn't perfect, and I get sore feet and ankles , and knees after a long stint.
But most evident is a large callous developed on my left thumb 👍 where its contacts below the T-bar on the wheel. I've resorted to giving it a rub up with a metal file once a week to keep it a managable size (the thumb 👍 not wheel!)

The chair I sit in while racing with my DFGT has a bit that acts as a headrest and that goes out to the arms a bit (it's a big wooden chair) that I always hit my elbows on when turning sharply. When this happens, I usually pinch the nerve in the soft spot of my elbow and either get a sharp pain or can't even gain control of my arm for a few seconds.

i have had numerous cramps in my legs when using my G25. and a couple scapres from being barefoot and missing the pedals cuz my brain is moving faster then my feet.

was tryin to get p1 in ford gt on suzuka ..almost passed out got dehydrated (was pretty hot)and bruised my hands big time  i imagine how much f1 drivers have to go trough in a track like monaco ..

I always get a sore back/shoulders when i play, so my girlfriend (who's a chiro) has given me lots of stretches to do, to try and prevent that :p

Now you have an excuse for her to give you stretches.
LOL

i usually get my middle fingers hurt from shifting too much (i'm a drifter):dopey:

I never trust chiropractors. They eat their sick and wounded.

I've stabbed myself on a sliver of plastic hanging off a controller. I didn't notice it until my hand was bleeding quite severely.

Yeah I hurt my middle finger too, from acknowledging the punters ! :)
lol:lol:
As for Battle injuries...I don't ever recall injuries or whatever, I find the Playstation controller's have always been confortable to hang on to while playing, and there really light as well.👍
I think Sony have done a fantastic job of the Playstation controller's, the controller's are strong yet light, conpact yet won't cramp your hands. They obviously discovered that teh PS2 Controller was great and they stuck with the idea. I think...'If somethings not broke, don't fix it'.:D:tup:
Peace,

I mainly suffer from blisters and sore thumbs, I did get my revenge on the machine once though...

Ha ha nice thread no never to be honest apart from the odd headache.

Cut my foot on one of the pedals on my DF, and kind of cracked it in the process :(. The plastic isn't really cracked that much, so it's liveable.

I have jammed my bare foot between the G25 pedals (stainless steel) a couple times, which hurts somewhat.

my left thumb was really painful and red after collecting money
for the f2007(diddn't have g25 then).
trust me, it's worse than you think it is.

👍 ..... HiHi

I actually just did that a few hours ago, with a needle though.:dopey:
Anyone else get shin splints after playing for too long?

@ripping_silk
I hear you about the sore back...

After long period of time playing with the g25 the bit of skin by the joint in my thumbs start to hurt because of rubbing of the leather. Also got annoyed been punted off in the final corner on Suzuka after a long battle with my F40 holding onto 2nd place, tryed to kick my ps3 controller instead of my wheel ended up contacting with the steel post of my bed, thought id broke my toe at the time it hurt so much.
