Just ended my night off with a great session playing alongside Blitz187 and mr_VOLCANO:tup:, hopefully once I get back from my holiday there will be/has already been enough people for a full GTP match:tup:.

Yeah it was great ;) Did you see DAS-THE-SPARTAN he was crazy! Really cool sitting in tanks with him. He got 32 kills and 1200 points one round :scared:

EDIT: Checked global ranking an he was in 300 something, cant remember exactly. He has played 67h already ! Looks like I found a good squad member :D

Great shooting last night guys... I had a couple of matches where I lost my mojo a bit... but most went ok... :) And DAS-THE-SPARTAN was OFF the hook last night... Where did you find that guy mr_V? :lol: He was scoring like crazy... Even REALLY good in the planes... I was constantly being shot to bits on the ground by him in a plane when he ended up on the other team for a while :dunce::dunce: I couldnt believe that score of his either.. LOL It was a lot of fun... Also had a couple of good owning sessions with mr_V in a tank and on foot with Tommi_2000 👍 Thanks guys, til next time.. and I have added the rest of you on the GTP Match list on my PSN So come out and join the fun :D

PS- Attached a pic of that INSANE score lol... Had to attach because Photobucket was down :(

For some reason, I was able to join a game very easily, but accepting an invite (from mr_V, Minus and Blitz) failed everytime. Very weird. I was able to enter the game, but not in the squad. Later on I wasn't able to join either, I think the game was full.

Yeah, joining matches went easily... but the squad invite didnt work right either I guess... mr_V, Minus and I were in a squad together, but we couldnt get you or Masicampo in... They really need to fix the online matching...
 
I played last night and the Lag time was horrible, it was the first time I had any issue playing online.

Great; that's when I tried for the third time to try to log on to the EA website so I can play, and was unsuccessful, yet again.

That's the third and possibly the final time I try to create a EA online user profile so I can play this damn game. :rolleyes:

Don't give up, the game is addictively fun. Trust me you would not have enjoyed it last night because everything was glitchy and it was hard to shoot anything. If anyone had a mic on last night they definetely got an earfull from me :grumpy:. Well there is always tonite!👍

jswilli1 is right though...once you start playing it's addictive. I mean I played it nigh-on non-stop for over a week. It's like Bad Company but more responsive and colourful. If you can just keep trying...once you've poped you won't stop!

Exactly what is broken with the Private Match Creation feature?

Inviting people into your squad fails quite often. Joining games with friends usually works well, but it's not guaranteed you'll be in the same squad (or even team).

That said, I managed to get into a squad with Minus955 and mr_Volcano yesterday and we had a few very nice rounds!

Yeah, the invites didn't work for me yesterday but I would have thought a dedicated creation tool would work. D'oh!

Anyways, as you say, the join friends feature (Triangle) does work and I managed to join both you and mr_VOLCANO last night.
 
Little tips for when you dont are in squad with your friends, press start, then go to my squad, leave squad, then search for new squad. You can also invite when you are in game.

Nice rounds blitz 👍 will join again soon

Thanks mr_V... We had a few good matches yesterday... Saw Minus, DutchCustoms and jswilli last night as well... I was playing on my roommates account though... If youre up for some more tonight let me know! 👍 Need to get my ranking up :lol:
 
Its getting a little too repetitive now. Unreliable private matching, a handful of maps, and few weapons! ...Dice can get started with a couple of new maps! I cant think of any other major Japanese/American battles other than in the philippines.. Maybe Liberation of Manila? An urban setting, great for the tommy gun. Or the Corregidor Defense? (It's like the Alamo of the far east, a small island like wake).

Its is a PSN game though and for 12 euros I find I have gotten my money's worth out of this game... Im still enjoying it quite a bit... but new maps are always welcome :D
 
If anyone is interested mr_VOLCANO, Blitz, and Minus955 are all on, I gotta take a break I stayed up till 2am last night playing. Had some awesome rounds with/against you guys even Masi last night. Watch out for mr_VOLCANO he is "deadly" in a tank I had the privilege to ride with him and die against him :sly:

Pearl Harbor would be an awesome map or maybe even Midway? I agree I have got my $15 USD out of this game...cheap entertainment.

Had a couple of great rounds with mr_VOLCANO and Blitz we were top squad quite a few times. I had to cut it short because my wife told me to go buy another PS3, we have been taking turns between campaigns. She is definitely hooked on the game, I will post her EA login after I create it.

Lets see what they come up with :D ... I think the game is catching on and quite popular... Soon it'll be on PC also, so I think there could be expansion...

32 kills?! Whoa... I believe mr_V also reached the 30+ kills yesterday at some point... I havent gotten that far yet... but im getting there... I think most for me up til now is 20+ in a match... and yes the M1 is DEADLY accurate! :D Rifleman FTW!

Ive had a few 27-29s here n there, but dis is the first time i cracked 30! Last 2 kills were suicide bayonet charges as my enemies were spawning around me while i was at their base! After the last shank to the guts, the game ended :D

:lol: Thats how I got my Melee Man stamp yesterday at GuadalCanal... I just ran into their base on the hill in the center of the map and they kept spawning around me so I took the trusty bayonet out and stabbed about 5 or 6 of them before getting shot myself :D Sometimes this game is just SO satisfying... :sly::sly:
 
Shanking someone is very satisfying indeed my friend :D i should try the Sniper's samurai one these days and chop a head off for souvenier :lol:

Also, has anyone else had a 'Saving Private Ryan' moment? Was at Guadalcanal at tHe Center flag (Hilltop). A tank was coming over, i shot a couple guys running along with the tank, threw grenades at it n missed a couple of launching nades.. the tank was still going after all this. I exhausted every nades by now... Unfortunately, i didnt pull out a pistol and started shooting the tank while sitting down, but a plane out of nowhere, dropped the bomb and hit the tank square as it was about to aim at me point blank :D :bowdown: Angels in the sky!
