I rarely share setups but I figure you guys need some help after seeing some of the crazy **** you guys use. If you like the setup, let me know. If you don't, I don't really care so don't say something negative.

This car drifts VERY well and is very responsive. You can really feel the road under you as you drive.

I can't take pics or make vids but my AE86 is white with gold mesh BBS wheels with the polished lip.

Here's the settings...

I've got 3 86's in my garage each with different setups. By far, I like this one of mine:

AE86 Settings form the Death by Drifting video.

Everything except weight reduction.
Stage 3 Turbo and oil change. (352 HP)
Super Slick tires.

Settings:
Default Suspension settings.
Default brake balance settings.

TCS: 2

Just let it go by istelf.

Mazda sais weight is the enemy. I disagree... I believe that if you learn to control the weight then it's your best friend. Like wild dingos. You know what I mean?

Weight should still be as low as possible. The car would perform better overall. No matter how much you lighten a car you still have plenty of weight to throw around in feint drifting. A 2000lb car is super light by car standards but that's still one ton of mass flying at a turn at 60mph. PLENTY of momentum there.

The vinkster doesn't drink, he's just really good with analogies that's all.

And as for battle_stage's response... sure you may have "plenty" of weight to throw around. I find that the more weight there is, the more fun there is getting it around corners.

Boy, now there's an attitude guaranteed to open a friendly and constructive conversation.
Your signature is too big. Cut it down to six lines. If you don't want to shorten it, I don't care, so don't say something negative. Just do it.

Yes. Those are Jordan's guidelines. Honestly, six lines is enough - you can get plenty of information in there. Try all the AE86 info on one line instead of separate lines. You only need to cut two lines out of it the way it is now. It's better this way, because acres of screen space are saved by not having huge sigs repeated with every post.

Your settings look pretty realistic from here, although that's quite the extreme toe setting. Probably makes for a fun car.

I put the that toe settings on all my cars now. I found that it improves the cars race capabilities by alot. I've gotten WAY better laps times in my R34 and Evo VII with the toe like that, I also don't mind the nice and sharp steering while drifting.

I know what happens when the rules aren't obeyed...
Trust me and shorten the sig

hey neon, about your sig. I drift Monaco, it is not that hard. and about how drifting is faster on the mountain pass, it is faster on the downhill. There is a BMI video of Keiichi Tsuchiya drifting his 170HP AE86 on the downhill against a gripping 300HP R32 GT-R and Keiichi still won.
