Seems we better get a wriggle on here chaps.....

Some combos please?

I'd better go prompt you in the wrs thread....

Nice one MR8, you seem to be checking in here regularly, and veilside.... but im sure there are 10 of us!!

:irked:

ur right vexd. 👍

@MR8 The amuse at r5 is a hoot! 👍 I was messin' with that very same combo a couple days ago only on the clubman route! :)

Spreadsheet has been updated with all the latest proposals, plus I added a couple so some categories wouldn't get lonely. I added one to 1.4.6 and a wildcard race. I just edited my original post with latest version.

Here's how we stack up in numbers of proposals to date:

1.4.1-5
1.4.2-4
1.4.3-2
1.4.4-2
1.4.5-3
1.4.6-2
1.4.7-4
1.4.8-2
1.4.9-3
1.4.10-3
wildcard-1

total #proposals=31

to tell the truth, I'm not real wild about the wet race at Tsukuba or however you spell it. No matter what you run, it's kinda tedious IMO. I'd rather do some sort of max credit race like what I proposed in the wildcard. any opinions?

Any other proposals?

How do we vote? Captains?

Ive had a look at the excel sheets minor, once i understood them, i agree, nice work!

before i understood them, i was a little perturbed, but anyway....

With those printed off using the company's paper and ink, i am on my way home soon to cross each one off the list as i create a combo for it, using the examples you have added from this thread as my inspiration to do so.

So, hopefully, i'll have time tomorrow morning to get my list up here, and then i wont feel like im letting the side down...

CMON people!!! not long to go!

My god, that took some typing out!

Hooray, now i can relax, knowing that although most of them are hotlappers, i have made a contribution towards every race scenario in BC5.

Now where are the rest of you to comment on my choices?

Hmmm? :irked:

Cmon, lets have some feedback...

Or entries even.👍

Sorry I haven't got in here much, been a bit busy. I tried to open Minor Shunt's Excel file and look through the suggestions and see where we stand, but I couldn't get it to do anything since I'm a blatant idiot and don't know anything about excel. If anyone has a spare 10 minutes and would be willing to cut and paste a simple list of all suggestions so far divided into categories that would help me out a lot. If not I guess I'll look through them all and gather up some races from each member and turn them in tomorrow.

BTW, has anyone seen Boombexus anywhere? I thought he was supposed to be the actual cap'n but haven't seen him posting in any of the BC5 related threads. Guess I'll have to PM him.

As you wish Todd.

Here is a straight forward text file. Easy to read even for you ;) :dunce: :ouch: :sly:

Thanks Dion, that will help out a lot.👍

Alright everyone, I submitted the following race proposals to Duke. I tried to get at least one suggestion from everyone, but some only submitted a couple so it was hard to work everyone in. That's about it for now. Teams can probably start voting pretty soon, so we'll see what happens.:)

Hang on, before anyone votes, i think we decide on the 11 races we want as a team in this thread then we get our team captian to vote, Im not sure how its done so nobody vote until we know how we are suppose to do it.

Yes, we will have full discussion here, probably using a poll for each race. Once everything is settled, me or Boom will send in the team's final vote. We can't really do anything until we get to see all of the proposals from the other 12 teams though. Once they are posted I'll get everything sorted out and setup for everyone's input.👍

You guys don't really need this, but just for consistency's sake, here's the reminder I posted on all the other Forums. Good luck in the voting,

:Duke

Hello, Team GTP:

Proposals for all 10 Races and the Wild Card round are available at the GTPlanet BC5 Forum. Please visit and review all the great ideas.

Voting will close on 25 August 2005 to allow time to count the results and make any adjustments.

Good luck and see you in September for the action!

Duke

Guys, there are a few questions concerning your proposals on the BC5 board. Please check 'em out and fill in the blanks. Also note that some of the other teams' proposals have been updated, and there is a new team added onto the bottom who just signed up.
