Beat Level 40?

I did a quick search and couldn't find anything on this topic, so sorry if I have missed it. My question is do you have to beat Level 40 or just reach level 40? I ask because I am on Level 38 (39 by tomorrow morning) and I only have 10 9hr races left until 40. So do I have to reach it, or beat it? thanks!
 
I am not sure what you are actually asking but if you mean to get the class 24 ticket you must Gold all the endurance races which requires you to reach level 40 and then win the 24 hour Nurburgring event as well as having won all the others. To get the Platinum trophy you must have Gold in every thing both a and b spec all the way up to and including level 40.
 
OK I guess my question is answered by this...You only need to get to level 40 and compete in the 24 hour at the ring, but there are no more XP to be gotten, right?

He's asking as if it's Call of Duty, once you hit level 50 you need to get xp again to prestige.

HAHA REALLY AM I? It was a legit question...is that OK with you?
I don't want to have to "try" and get 7-8 million more XP to beat the game...that is all.
 
You ending with exp level of 7.576,732 points and after every race you will earn exp points but they will never be added to your final number.

I wasn't making fun of you, I was just trying to explain it like they do in call of duty, you can hit the last level but you have to gain xp for another level. Some people just didn't get what you were asking.
