Hello again, past 06-05-27 Michael Schumy wins the Pole Position in Monaco with a time of 1'13.898 are you able to beat him using a Formula GT and keep the Pole to you?

Today I started the prove in Cote d' azur with my Formula GT and didn't get the Pole, my best time this evening was 1'14.728 in the 5th lap and hiting a wall (impossible situation for Shummy) so I can't take in count this lap time, therefore my realy beast time today was in the 2nd lap 1'15.532, then I get bored and left this to other day, in a couple days I will put pictures to evidence the laps I don't have the interface yet...

You do realise that the Cote d'Azur track is not quite the same track that the Grand Prix uses? There are differences.

And Holl01 has a 1'08.989

Hi Daan, yes I can see that diferences exist betwen Monaco real life an Cote d' Azur but if you look good all GT real tracks can change a bit so let us dream with a almost similar reality, the cars are diferent an the weather modified the behavior of them, if we take this factors in count never would get this kind of challenge. The goal I'm propousing must be taken in Gran Turismo mode and with R3 tires, I think Holl01 used R5 so he run in Arcade mode.

While holl01 did in fact perform his run in Arcade mode, the game only allows the use of R3 tires in either mode. Notice when you watch a replay it will always say 'RM/RM' even if you selected an alternate compund.

That said, 3rdgenracerX clocked a 1'08.946 in GT Mode and myself a 1'09.457.

Cheers.

Ok, about your words I only can tell that the target has changed, Schumy seems a candy, now I'm going behind your time, and then holl01 time, I know I'm far but I'm working on it! This is the kind of situation I've been dreaming..

No chace you'll get there, buddy. Holl01 has transplaneted mechanical arms with integrated DFP interface and enhanced anti-force-feedback, as well as an overclocked nervous system for improved hand-eye synching.

I see...that's because I can't go even near his record with my pitifull joystick, but I'm still working on it, my best now is 1'13.666 in GT mode without any help equipment (I like old skin ride), anyway thanks for the info.

Slight differences indeed. Not to mention the cars are very different. Third, a lot of the things like tires and certain set-up changes in GT4 seem very.... objectionable. It's pretty tough to really compare how you do with how Schumi did. Try Suzuka (vs. 2004 or 2003 lap times, take into account cut slick tires and your own slick "Medium" compound... which really means nothing) and you'll get a slightly better idea, slightly.
