If it is one thing I love about college sports (especially football), you get a chance to take a look at lovely campuses around America. I've seen some wonderful atmospheres when I watch college football games on TV. Of course, watching them on TV and then going to the campuses in person are two different things. When I went to Kerrville, TX, USA, I was welcomed to a wonderful atmosphere. Perhaps the focal point of this hilly place in around southwest Texas, I was so humbled with the environment there. I normally thought that Texas was all ranches and some small towns. After going months ago to [try to get enrolled in] Schreiner University, the environment was a lovely one. I've seen hills with plenty of trees and grass on them. I've even seen a few houses out there on those hills. I'm sure uphill bicycle rides would certainly be fun. But the university itself is small and handsome. You can see for yourself about the university at: http://www.schreiner.edu .
When a vote was made as to what the most beautiful campus in America was, the vote was given to a college called Mount Holyoke. Most of the powerhouses I seen in college football TV coverage have games played on wonderful campuses. Everything from UCLA's and their Rose Bowl to the MASSIVE campus of the University of Michigan, everyone has a preference as to what the most beautiful college campus is. And according to a poll at http://www.studentsreview.com, here are the top 5 American colleges that were considered as the most beautiful:
1 = Vanderbilt University
2 = University of Virginia
3 = Mount Holyoke College
4 = Cornell University
5 = Clemson University
GTPlanet, what college do you think is the most beautiful in America, or which is your favorite? You know, instead of American campuses, I'm going one better. I'd want to invite colleges around the world. So for example, if you live in England attending college and yours beat American ones, go for it! If you live in Australia and yours is better, bring it! This topic is about which colleges and/or universities are the most beautiful in America, or in the world. Reply now to kick things off.
