There's really no point in not allowing semi-racing or even racing exhaust, especially with randoms joining (although they rarely do because no one knows what a "joyride" is.) I have some road-legal replicas that require semi-racing and more that require racing exhaust.

Also I found some cars don't sound good with stock exhaust. For example my 2004 Holden Commodore Super Sport the stock exhaust sounds nothing like a V8 & I use sports exhaust most of the time to give it that proper V8 sound it was meant to have.

I dont care either way, but it would be nice. The pre made Initial D 86 comes with a semi racing, and cant be changed

I keep all my cars with stock exhaust, all the other exhaust sounds annoying to me. Except for the Zonda 7.3 with sports.

The Aventador needs a full race system because it's the only way it'll even sound like an Aventador. An Aventador with an Armytrix system, but better than driving a V12 Gallardo.

This is my opinion. I don't really care about the horsepower increase, but some cars require a variety of exhausts including racing. I may speak for most when I say I would like all my cars to sound somewhat close to their real-life sound

Also to clarify:
There's no point in using randoms as an excuse not to because of the Community function.

And @Ameer67, can toy give a reason why you don't want semi or race exhausts on the cars?

So explain to me how an F430 with a racing exhaust sounds realistic. It doesn't sound realistic in the slightest unless you're comparing it to an angry lawn mower instead of an Italian V8. This is the reason I have a problem with racing exhausts. When they sound good, I leave them be. But if it makes me along with the other members cringe, then I have to ban racing exhausts.

<- Supra has Semi-race exhaust, it has the Race-exhaust tone w/o drowning-out the BOV, Best IMO.

Supra keeps the Semi-race and doesn't give a 🤬

:mischievous:

Also, 3 pages and for once I didn't get any alerts, now that's strange :nervous:

Numerous "car show winner picks category" rooms with people bouncing off the rev limiter on the line in their race cars have made me realize that the racing exhaust makes my ears bleed. As long as it doesn't sound like an angry bees nest, im fine. Like in GT5, if you put racing exhaust on the subaru legacy wagon, it actually had a nice low- mid end throaty growl, and then it started to get the v12 scream at the high end. only good racing exhaust ive heard

That's the thing though, only a handful of the sound good while the rest aren't so great.

So... Anyone want to do a Thanksgiving Car Show tomorrow? Don't know if I'll wake up early.

I'm going shopping at 6 PM today and end at 8 am tomorrow morning so I don't think I'll be ale to join anything. I'm also pretty sure that other members are going to be busy since it's thanksgiving and stuff.
