I already have a few ideas.

One other question, I had an idea I liked better than the Cobra and it's listed as a convertible in the name of the car, but it's permanently doomed as a closed top car in the game, Acceptable or no?

Pretty much every open top car is a closed top car in the game.

Except the California, which is weird because that's a convertible as well.

Huh. I guess that's something they've changed since GT5, because I don't remember it being closed before.
 
It's open top until you go to drive it then BAM hard top :P
 
Only machines I can get off the top of my head that don't have a top in-game are the E52 Z8 and the Cobra 427.

All the premium Lotus Elises don't gain a top either.
 
I'd love to join but I'm going campfishing over the weekend and I'm pretty sure the lobby is starting when I'm about to leave. :(
