But putting it up so high leaves very little engine sound. Engine sound is good.

I normally put it one over what it would be normally though, makes it harder to floor it and end up wrecked.

I've been in plenty where no one does, and it was never mentioned in the OP, so I figured you could cruise in any gear you wanted.

I haven't seen any elitism, but I do think it's a little... Regulated for a cruise club.

I understand that, and most definitely don't think I'll have trouble following rules, I've just never been in a cruise club with so many regulations. Most of them are pretty much straightforward: Drive what you want, when you want, how you want, as long as you don't mess with others. I've never seen a club that allows its members to make limited lobbies, either. I thought that was odd, the whole "Lobby slips" thing.

Well it's better than only having 6 or 7 moderators opening rooms compared to the 30 members that can make rooms.

You're right. I personally believe that it should be unlimited lobbies, but with the standard "Like check" that's used, to ensure there's enough people to make it interesting.

I personally have a very, very erratic shcedule, so my free time varies a lot. It would be very nice to just be able to open a lobby when I can, instead of having to use slips and eventually run out.

But, like you said earlier, I believe this club has many improvements over the previous way things were run. Most notably the "Members can now open rooms", and the official events addition (sanctioned car shows, for instance, with a lobby slip given out at the end, to boot).

I've definitely run with much, much worse groups, most notably a bunch of... Not nice people that ran a stock Corvette racing series. They were just plain elitists.

I give out some slips here and there if someone interested in hosting even if they have none.

Sorry if I came off kinda bossy. I was trying to watch your behavior (and your internet connection. :p)

Oh, so the slips are really sort of a laid-back rule? That makes it much better.

And no worries. Today was a good day for my connection, despite the thunderstorms rolling in. Especially in a 4-star lobby. On a bad day, I get D/Ced from those every 15 minutes.

Also, a notice: I'll not be joining any lobbies until probably tomorrow night. Huge classic car show tomorrow (pics will be on facebook, and in the Events thread, for those interested), and then I have to clean up some rooms for spare cash. By then I'll be dog-tired, so probably not until Sunday, actually.

It's not too laid back though. Don't go in debt on lobby slips by making lobbies when you have zero slips.

I may be up for a lobby around 8 in my time zone. I have no lobby slips, since I'm on the waiting list, right?
 
I got PDed (As Host, the game broke itself) and when I came back I couldn't find it, so I suppose the Lobby is dead
