Apart from a short visit on my birthday last year (November) I haven't been around here at all since July 2006. That's a pretty long time considering I used to login here at least once a day!

ExigeExcel linked me to a thread earlier and I guess I finally decided that I miss this place. I guess with learning to drive and starting to plan my first car that I'm going to need the GTP Wisdom over the next few weeks.

But yah, miss me? :dopey:

What's new around here? Have I missed any legends like Tercel, CoryXtreme etc. ?
 
Theres been a recent uproar over Doug (M5Power) getting banned, we had some guy who was so infactuated with Alliyah it was almost internet necrophylia. He got banned. And another member who just did nothing but type the praises of Lindsey Lohan. He got banned. Poverty (I don't know if you'll remember him or if he was after you left) got banned. Theres been a few bannings, but other than Poverty and M5Power, none of the more regular GTP'ers have gone. Jjacks nearly sliced his hand off, which was nasty. I now watch movies on a 5ft x 5ft pull down screen via an over head projector. It also comes in handy for after-the-pub sessions on Pro Evo with a few mates. The mobiles business is not running anymore, instead I now live a life of minimal stress, I just work early, home early afternoon and then get on with whatever need doing. DIY, work on the cars, whatever with doses of GTP inbetween.

So any ideas on your first car yet? Met anyones special? Committed multiple homicide?

Doug banned? No way...what happened there then? I remember the Aaliyah guy but none of the others. I also think that I should be invited to one of those Pro Evo sessions, that screen sounds awesome.

Well we've been offered a free 1992 1.4 Golf but I think it's a bit risky and it will probably be cheaper in the long run to buy something a bit less prone to falling apart. It's also a lot more expensive to insure than a 1.0 litre Seat Arosa (my dad's choice for me) for example. My mate has a 1.0 Lupo and it runs pretty well and (I think) looks nice so that may be on the cards but I'm just browsing at the moment.

Another mate is getting a 1962 Austin 1100, we can't wait until he shows up to College in it!
 
I don't really miss you since I've been able to talk to you by MySpaz, MSN and through Evan/Zoe if needs be.

It was originally to concentrate on my GCSE's but I just felt I spend too much time on the PC instead of doing various things, like College work, exercise, finding a job etc.

I still spend too much time on here, so with MSN as well I would probably become one with my chair. :indiff:
