Can someone tell me why this car isn't allowed into rally racing?

I'm just guessing but I'll say that whom ever built this car just put the dirt tires on in MK's and thought that would allow it to rally. It doesn't work that way. U have 2 options, 1- buy the dirt tires in the game, or 2- change the 3 fittment lines in the ini so that they look like this.

Either method should fix it.
 
Yeah, buying dirt tires for it allowed it into the rally races. Here's a head scratcher though. Tomhrmns had selected Escudo dirt tires for the Beetle. After I bought dirt tires and saved the game and transferred the save onto my PC, I reloaded the garage into MK's program and expected to see that the tires had changed from Escudo dirt tires to Beetle dirt tires. But it still showed that Escudo tires were fitted to the Beetle. :odd:

That didn't work for me EliteRacer. The first thing that I tried was to change the base name to the Imprezza rally car. And sure enough the garage view showed a Beetle with the name Imprezza Rally Car (or something like that) above it. But it still would not get accepted into the rally races. Buying rally tires did work though.
