I cannot get gold on the tarmac event. Ive been trying this on and off for a couple months, Im always 1-2 seconds off from gold.

What car did you guys use? Im using an old Lancia Delta. No matter what I do I just cannot get gold. I need to try another car, dont know what though.

A Suzuki GSXR-4 will dominate the beginner and intermediate tarmac challenge.

I used a mildly tuned Camaro IROC-Z Concept I picked up from the UCD... that did the trick for me!

Ford Focus RS (In the NCD?) dominates. It's also really great in intermediate.

i silvered it a long time ago and actually completed it last night,
gt added the engine limiter and wit hthis you can use any 500 hp monster and just detune it to 246hp

i used the lacia s4 raly car and detuned it to 246, won by 12 seconds or so

VW Bora 4motion did it for me - tuned, obviously...

From memory the custom tranny was the most important bit.
