Just for fun I've started testing the cars in my garage out on the Top Gear Test Track to see how they all compare to one another. I'm essentially emulating my own career as "The Stig" from the TV show. I've tried to return all the cars I've tested to Stock form whenever possible. Some were not possible because I applied more than a 200kg weight reduction but most of the cars are close to Stock.

I'm not the fastest guy around be any means so most of these times should be easy to beat. But I thought I post them here for your amusement if you wanted to try the same thing and compare to my times. I use a Fanatec Wheel with Clubsport pedals and don't use any assists of any kind. All assists are off or Zero and even Track Edge grip is set to "Real". All times are legitimate laps for which I have replays.

Top Gear track Times

If someone can help me embed it into the thread I'd rather do it that way.

Why level 1 weight reduction for some? The stig has some sort of magical anti gravity device he carries with him? :\

Yes, I ran the lap then realized I hadn't checked the weight of the car and realized I had a Level 1 reduction. I was too lazy to go back and rerun the lap so for now I just noted the reduction.

I should also point out that all of these times are laps at speed at the start. I did not do standing starts like the Stig does simply because it's too much of a hassle trying to make sure that I start each lap from a stop. I simply ran a string of 5-8 consecutive laps and recorded my best lap.

There are also a couple cars with Wings on them for the same reason. I ran the lap then realized as I was watching the replay that I forgot to take the wing off. Doh! You'll notice that I have the 458 Italia on there twice as I did decide to run the lap without the wing and also kept the wing lap for comparison.

I just recently added a lap with a fully modded Aston Martin DB9 just for fun. Interestingly the speed I got fills the gap I had between the fastest stock supercars and the race cars.
