Bentley Speed-8, Sauber C9 or Mazda 787?

Since I can only afford one, which one would be the best, I tend to lean more towards cars that grip rather than point and shoot kind of cars. Reasons why would help also, Thanks

They're all good cars, but the 787b has the edge. It's premium too!
 
I got the 787B b/c it's Premium (thus easier to buy) and is lighter than the other two. All around the Sauber is faster though, and I finally bought one of those last night. Haven't driven it yet though.
 
Get the two standard ones as you know for sure you can get them for a week until the OCD updates. After that you would have to refresh the UCD until they show up. The 787B (even though I prefer it over the other two) you know you can buy at any time.
 
make a new account... over three days send them to that account and back without wasting money... you have all three...

Restoring Game Save neccessary...
 
I have driven 787b and Sauber c9, IMO, if you prefer grip more than power, then 787b would be your choice, but as sw_sephiroth said, you can get whenever you want. It won a lot of races for me in A-spec, Turbo, MR, lightweight, qualifies for a few events, and maybe eventually, it might come up on seasonal events ;P since they usually have races for Premium cars only.
 
Also, what will all the horsepower #'s be after they are maxed out with mods and oil change if anyone knows, thanks again
 
787B is around 900BHP fully tuned and C9 a bit over 1000. But 787B is a lot more stable and doesn't tend to spin at all.
The C9, on the other hand, is quite a tail-happy car (with default settings w/o TCS or with TCS 1), but bloody fast if you can keep it on the track. It is a bit faster than the 787B on Sarthe.
 
You can get the 787b any time becouse its premium.. the other one you gotta look up in the UCD (tho its now in the OCD but for a week only?)

This. I'd go for the Sauber C9.
 
I bought the Sauber C9 today. And prefer it out of the 3 simply because it is very easy to change the settings to get good acceleration out of corners.
 
get the sauber or 787b. u cant go wrong with those.
I have yet to try the bentley, but i doubt its gonna be as good.

the 787b is a bit slower than the sauber
 
I bought the Bentley, it handles awesome! I had been cycling the ucd for it, so bought as soon as I saw it in the online dealership.

If your like me and find the other lmp/group c cars understeer a bit to you, you will love this car.

I was instantly quicker on this cars default setup at my "testing grounds" (Trial Mountain and De La Sarthe '09) than my 908/R92CP/GT-One/Minolta (im saving now to get the C9)

It does spin a little easier than the others, but feels MUCH better to me.
 
Yeh I garee, the Bentley Speed 8 is very nice to drive.

The Mazda 787B was ok, not as nice to drive as the Bentley (plus it makes a god awful noise that really drones) Plus you really have to watch the throttle with it.

The Sauber C9 I bought because I was collecting, won a race at Indy with it but I took it online to Le Sarthe and I spun it on the first corner lol ... So now I have put it back in the garage, I don't think I'm ready to drive high powered cars with my new DFGT yet lol! (Although I did do the Seasonal Event with the ZR-1 C6 RM so maybe I should give it a go? I dunno)

Get first the Sauber or Bentley, the Mazda just stay in car dealer you can purchase later.
 
Actually I think I prefer the Silk Cut Jaguar XJR-9 LM above all of them - but go for the used cars, while they are there. The mazda ain't leaving. :)

Good call... I hated it so much as an opponent that I aqcuired one myself. It's not the pretties car but it's an insane speed machine that stands out in an era where insane cars were almost becoming the norm :)
 
These guys are right about the Bentley and Sauber being worth getting from the OCD at the mo as they're rarities but if it's just one car you're after the 787B is worth every one of those 5,260,000 credits. My favourite GT5 car so far.

Personally if I had to choose one, I'd go with the 787B.

But I'd much rather have my new toy, the Panoz Esperante GTR-1 :drool:👍
 
I would try to make enough cash to buy the Speed 8, and the C9 while they are on the OCD, because they are rare, and hard to find otherwise. I already had the C9, but I last night I raised enough credits to buy the Speed 8. I didn't want to wait for it to leave the OCD, and then when I really want it not be able to find it. You can buy the 787B anytime since it is a premium. Go for the ones that are harder to get.
 
Thanks for all the input guys, I should be able to buy them both before they are gone from the OCD, good point about the Mazda as it will be there always. I havent looked yet but is the Jaguar Silk car in the dealership or is it a rarity also?
