I have one in my UCD right now. It costs 5,679,764 Cr which is quite alot considering most other cars of similar specification cost between 4 and 5 million credits. I don't think i'll buy it just yet though.

It's a solid car. Keep in mind that it's quite rare, so if you don't buy it now, there's no telling when the next time is it'll come back. :scared:

It's no longer in my UCD as of 5 minutes ago. I have actually seen it come and go quite often compared to most other race cars, so I doubt that I'd have to wait too long before it reappears.

Lol, I encourage you to take my shared Speed 8 for a spin on the chicaneless Le Sarthe. Easily 240-250mph on full downforce.

When you've decided that you want it, you won't see it for weeks. There are probably 6 or so Le Mans racers that I snatch up whenever I see them in the UCD.

Nothing ever seems to reappear after you decide that you want to buy it.

True, but the Speed 8 is not really a car that i'm looking to buy at this time, I need to earn more cash before I can buy it. I'd just like to see how long it takes for it to reappear.

It's essentially an Audi R8 with a top. If you don't get this car, you'll regret it, it's fabulous.

So true. Im still waiting for the Benz CLK GTR, Nissan R92CP, Chapparal 2J. Saw them all once but of course I didnt have the money:ouch:

Who would have money for 2D and 2J? That's what baffles me. It's not at the dealer, it's not a prize car, it's a random car in the UCD that somehow cost the max amount of credit you can carry.

If you think about it. Someone one has to have a running balance of 16 million. When that car show up, immediate do 4 Dream Car serious to buy it. If it shows up in your UCD and you only have 15 million, say good bye to it and wait again.

That, trade (which is no longer possible), or birthday ticket exploit. When both the 2D and 2J were at the online dealer a few months ago, I couldn't grind 40 million to buy them... How many can really... I got mine from trade.

Speed 8 can be gotten in possibly 4 ways.
1. Online UCD
2. Regular UCD
3. 2003 Birthday Ticket
4. (Unconfirmed) 1000 Ticket

Agreed completely. Thats why I stopped playing PD's silly game of grinding. Grinding Turismo 5 is what it should have been called lol. I dont play as much as I used to for many reasons. One of them being this silliness. 20 mil cap is stupid if you have multiple cars that cost 20 mill and you need to play for 80 years to afford just one of them....at a time lol. Ive long given up on the 2J and the like but the CLK GTR and the R92CP are reachable with the little time I have to play.

If I wanted to be reminded of what I want, but cant afford because of how little I earn per amount of work I do, I can look at real life instead of a game:) Im burnt out from grinding so now when I play I just play for fun for an hour or two instead of getting wrapped up in the engineered in silliness from PD this go round. Not enough events so you get sick of playing against the same cars on the grid over and over etc.

Anyway back on topic. I do like the driving and the Bentley Speed 8 is one of my favs. Love watching it in replays. Its a sinister looking mean dark green machine:tup:

Thanks to the seasonal events, I did! (had a few accounts that I've been doing the seasonals). Thanks to the save trick, I'd buy them and still keep the money

Too bad PD took all the fun out of it and throttled gifting. But, I still abuse what I can :D

Basically the Speed 8 is the same awesome sauce of the Audi R8 in a closed bottle.

Or an Audi R8 in a nutshell...literally.

The Speed 8 is just awesomeness on 4 wheels. I spent 3 day of forwarding my UCD so I could get it and my fav of fav cars the Toyota GT-One.

The Bentley is the hard top version of the R8LM , I do believe there is a few difference with the engines but the floor and chassis are the same.

It is a very forgiving car and handles well. Very fast steering makes it point where you want and the back end is just planted. The car is one of the nicest of the LM cars and is overlooked by the idiots who want the X2010 to race online.

The Bentley has 4.0L engine while the Audi's is 3.6L I think, which allows the Bentley to gain more torque at a lower RPM. Other than that, the two are virtually identical. Only the driver can make the difference.

Also there was some areo difference (IE the roof!). But we can all agree it is one truly beautiful car!

Yep. 2001 was Audi sourced 3.6 and an Audi sourced power plant was expanded again to 4.0L for 2003 just and sumbrown listed. I am saving my Bentley for my last tuning conquest. I've driven adding only camber and some toe out up front and it rules as is. Here is a video of a replay I put up.

In GT4 the Bentley speed 8 was the 3rd fastest Car at Test Course [10+km track], time & speed wise that is behind the two Toyota GT-One cars.

In GT5 it's a car worth buying since it is the fastest British car in the game.
