Best 450pp and 500pp car for the Nordschleife?

The Lotus Elise 111R is the 2nd fastest car in the 350-500pp range from my experience in the seasonal time trials, behind the non street legal Suzuki GSXR Concept.

Wouldn't they run out of puff at the back straight and in the faster sections? I know they are very good handling cars but as far as top speed is concerned. I could be wrong though :)
Or have there been TT's at the Nurb with those cars that I seem to have forgotten about?

A Lamborghini Miura is fun car to drive @ 500pp, if you can afford it, I can run a 1:36 lap time on indy road course using it, haven't tried it on nurb yet, I tuned the suspension same as the stock expect its lowered all the way.

Thanks again for all the help! :D
Which car is faster at 450pp, the premium Impreza '05 or the Lancer Evo IX '05?

The Impreza is faster but i hate the power curve. It completely dies in high rpm so short shifting is needed.

I prefer the Evo because it's got more character but it has throttle on understeer that is kinda glitchy and hard to get rid of.

Yeah, I notice the understeer.... :grumpy:
Anyone a good tune for it?

First of all put the torque split at F30-R70. Install the track bar.

Get rid of the AYC controller and set the LSD like this.

15-25
20-40
10-20

Try it an let me know if it helps.

These are my recommended 'Ring drives.

Lotus Esprit V8 GT - lovely predictable handling, well balanced with a little oversteer. The sweetest V8 soundtrack all through the rev range. Great to learn the circuit in.

BMW M3 GTR (or base model M3) - beautifully balanced and very easy to make quick progress.

Lambo Aventador - well sorted 4wd system lets you believe you're driving a mid-engined rwd motor. Totally sorted chassis so much so that it's perhaps a bit too easy and not very involving. Easy to go very fast with vast amounts of stability.

The tricky one:
RuF RGT - very fast out of corners but quite lethal if you're not smooth with steering and throttle input. Tends to understeer unless you really get the nose in. Very rewarding once you get the feel for it though - properly exciting through the third quarter of the Nordschleife.
