hey guys just want to know which cars you are using for seasonal events, my zonda R is not quite up to the challenge

Zonda R wins easily with no tuning. 2J is always the go-to car if you can't do something and just need a win. Probably(not sure, never tried) most of the LMP-type cars could be detuned enough and would make it easier as well, if you have no 2J.

i get into 2nd place easily enough, but its just catching the f1GTR, maybe i try too hard, im not brilliant at the game either tho lol

Two many threads like this, I don't mean to be a strict rule follower but look for similar threads before starting your own. There are many of these threads floating around due to the consistency of PD seasonal events.

I will give one answer, and it should be the last posted on this thread.

2J. That's it. End of Thread.

I didn't try the Zonda. It should be good.

I ran the GT-R LM bone stock the first time. It made it to second but didn't catch the F1. I ran an R35 TC modded up to 650.

Luck of the draw, I didn't have an F1 to go against. The Ford GT was easier to catch.

300PP - Audi TT
500 PP - Ferrari 458 Italia detuned
650 - Mazda Furai

these cars are great for both a-spec and b-spec seasonals and they are pretty readily available

castrol gt4
ford gt lm spec11 race car
nizmo
the citroen that has a cockpit like flight of the navigator

1st place with these so far

Detuned 2J is where it's at. I have a spare set to online permanently if anyone needs it

McLaren F1 GTR Stealth FTW. I tried the NSX and GTR Stealths but my Bobs have a much easier time in the mighty McLaren.

Just managed to silver all three with a fully modified Mclaren F1 road car.

Yeah if you have a 2j or borrow one you can win it pretty easily.

I would go for either f1 gtr or r390 (detuned) both overtake leader on start of lap 3. Any 630 ish PP will win on RS tyres for me.

I use my racing modified Corvette Z06. It weighs under 1100kg so I can fly through the corners. On the last seasonal (the circuito de madrid) I used the dlc GTR R35 touring car.

I've managed wins with these, tuned up to about 630-650PP:
TommyKaira ZZII
TVR Cerbera Speed 12
Merc SLS AMG
Nissan GT-R Vspec '09 (road going version)
Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR
Chevy Corvette ZR1 RM
Merc SL600 '04

It is very difficult with the McLaren F1 GTR in 1st place though, ideally you want to wait for a Corvette C5 Race Car or the Fairlady Z if you want a win.
Wins against the Ford GT LM Spec II are possible, as are wins against the Zonda, but difficult.

so far i have done it with the 2j and the zonda lm edition (watch out for this if you get it as an opponent its pretty fast)

Bloody heck.

I tried quite a few LM/LMPs and ended up about 15 seconds behind 1st place everytime (I'm a bit ****).

Then found this thread, tried a 2J and won by 10 seconds first time.

That car is cheating.

You can even go lower to 600pp and it's even better at cheating at that pp.

I use a detuned Audi R10 for the 650PP races. It isn't competitive against other LMP cars in the game but it's pretty good for this.

Disclaimer: I don't have the 2J yet.

I've found a detuned Peugeot 905 RC to be the fastest by far out of the race cars I have access to. But, even it needs to be pushed when the Mclaren F1 GTR is in the race.

My driver has a hot temper, level 40, with coaching he destroys the field, I just wish I could leave him on his own and he would win... But he's so slow when he's in the blue.
