I am looking to buy a digital in the next few weeks and I am unsure of what features I should look for. For the £200 that I am going to spend I would like as many extras as possible. I have seen some advertised with built in Bluetooth, rechargable batteries (one feature I would like!), and extra lenses.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance.

Fuji FinePix S5100.

4mp CCD - it's not a lot, but the camera's features make up for it
10x optical zoom
Most features that people would look for in SLR are on this camera (it just doesn't have interchangable lenses)
Macro mode will let you focus on objects that are touching the lens
There are lens attachments available so you can get a more powerful telephoto zoom or better wide angle.
The pics the camera takes are absolutely brilliant. Check Integra Type R's gallery @ http://labeld.deviantart.com to see some examples.

Retail pricetag of roughly $500 Canadian. That's just a little bit more than you want to spend. Search online and you'll find it for at least $100 less

:D Thanks for the plug, emad! :embarrassed:

Yes, the S5100 is a great camera! I really love it. It does come with a lens adapter so you can fit a wide angle/telephoto lens on it as emad said.. 👍 The features are great. Full manual mode with f2.8-f9. 10x optical zoom as well. :D It's also got aperature priority and shutter priority if that's what floats your boat. It's got a EVF (electronic view finder) so if you look through the view finder, you will see exactly what the LCD screen sees. You can shoot in normal color, chrome mode, and in black and white. It comes with a 16MB xD picture card but i deffinately recommend getting atleast 128MB. It also comes with 4 Ni-MH rechargeable batteries. It comes with a lens cap and a cool neck strap as well. :D The "mini-slr" body style with the battery grip is very comfortable to hold. It feels very natural in your hands. :)

Mine cost (with a package that came with a table top tripod, 128MB xD card, bettery recharger, and lens cleaner) was around $400 USD. The camera itself can be found for less than $300USD.

Thanks for the advice lads, 👍

Going to order one first thing tomorrow.

 Fuji are a great brand. I plan on upgrading to the S7000 probably next year I can find something better for the same price or cheaper.
