Best Browser is not Netscape - or IE.

Opera7 owns! I actually got Opera to work now. Looks way different to all the others.

Opera is faster than any other browser, can piss those annoying pop-up ads off and is skinnable for those people who like a bit of difference every now and then.

Who ever says Opera is better than IE have not used Crazybrowser with IE. Has all the options of Opera and more.
I've used Crazy Browser. I don't particularly like it. Opera has been hailed the world's fastest browser. It has actually been reviewed, tetsted, and all that crap and is actually the fastest browser at the moment. The thing I hate about Crazy Browser is it displays multiple windows in the one browser and uses tabs to switch between windows which is good, but to close one of those tabs you have to close the whole browser.

Opera is my favourite browser.
Then Mozilla.
Then Crazy Browser.
IE comes next.
Netscape comes in last because it is a Mozilla ripoff and doesn't feature the integrated popup stopper.

Um, isn't it the other way around?

Didn't the Netscape group originally make Netscape Navigator, then decided to spin off a group dedicated to making an open-source browser (Mozilla Org.)?

Nope. Netscape is built on the open-source Mozilla browser. I do believe it was called something else before though.

All you have to do to close a single tab is either right click on the tab and choose close or click on the little green cross at the end on the url bar and that close's the current open tab.

Sorry, but I'm just gonna have to prove you wrong... as taken from Macworld magazine:

Mozilla At Heart

In 1998, Netscape Communications released Netscape Communicator's browser source code to the public, under an open-source license. To coordinate its collaborators, Netscape created the nonprofit organization Mozilla.org, which soon focused its efforts on developing a new, standard-compliant core that would work easily across multiple computer platforms. The result was the Gecko rendering engine. {etc.}

From PC User Magazine - well, actually the CD that comes with the mag.

Netscape 7.0
This latest version of the Netscape Web browser, based on the open-source Mozilla[/colour], has greatly enhanced performance and stability over its previous versions, while improving its functionality and adding a number of key features. New features include one click searching from the address bar, Quick Launch to reduce the browser's startup time, history tab in the My Sidebar area, integrated download manager, automatic online form filler, easy access instant messenger, plus improved email management.

Well, anyway, the consensus still stands: Chimera beats all of the browsers, hands down! :P :D

Exactly. :)

However, I can't help feeling that it would make a great PC application (the Cocoa code would have to be totally re-written, of course)... The main value in Chimera is that it's extremely speedy, since it doesn't carry all of the garbage that its two cousins do... in fact, to some, Chimera may be a little bit sparse (I had to install a hack to get History working!), but it's got a lot going for it. There are even rumors that Apple might drop IE as its default browser in favor of Chimera. Not to mention that tabbed browing simply rocks! :D

(And, Chimera's preferences allow you to choose ad blocking too!)
