Things you can do with a Jaguar XF:
Go Really fast - Faster than an Atom 3?
Listen to world's no.1 sound sytem in segment - An undamped metal box is not the place to listen to music
Listen to glorious V8 - Or a 2.7 diesel...
Go Shopping - The Atom has a boot and a passenger seat
Take kids to school - The Atom has a boot and a passenger seat
Go on long journey - Honda engine + sub-500kg vehicle = fuel economy... You can go further in the Atom
Enjoy A/C in hot conditions, or heater in cold conditions - Don't you have a right foot for that?
Any more? - Pull over 2g in corners? Win design awards? Decelerate? Have sensible service costs?

And I'm sure you can fit a set of golf clubs in an Atom, to bring it in line with where most XFs will find themselves parked.

Ah I'd forgotten about the Atom... nah, still the Elise S for me. If only because it's a little drier in bad weather.

Since the Rover Streetwise hasn't been in production this year...

Looks like an Aston, sounds like an Aston, goes like an Aston, priced liked Tesco own-brand in comparison.

Good nominations folks... I'm figuring about another 12 hours or so to get those last few cars in and then we'll move this into the first voting phase (while adding another country to the list of nominations).

Predictable :D

No bugger had picked it yet, and it's not a best-of-British without the Atom. Or the Ascari A10, to be honest, but no-one's picked that either.

I'm not voting for the Aston V8 Vantage, I'm going to vote for the DB9. It's a bigger car, imo better looking, faster, has rear seats and seats you can sit in and if all the reviews are to be believed is great to drive.

I will. It's insanely quick, looks great, makes a wonderful noise, drives excellently, and held the top of the Top Gear Power Lap board until ze Germans took it with the Apollo. It may not be practical by any means, but it represents exactly what a privately-designed supercar should be, a niche Britain is known for.

I'll vote for this, fantastic car especially the new 08' one, looks fantastic, goes fantastically. Jeremy proved when the first TG race ever ran, it's a great luxury and great supercar. It's got rear seats, albeit so small you'd have to saw your children or friends legs off but I'm sure it be worth it. Just take a gaze at the interior it's simply just brilliant, a glass starter button with Aston engraved in it? How cool is that! The engine, a great 6.0L V12 a brute of a engine, come on could you get an any better engine for this car? It's a brute of a British car and I will definately support it all the way!

No 1. Aston Fan has finished now

Number 2 Aston fan (and I'm not speaking of me). I prefer the DBS to the DB9 anyway - also, the '08 V8 Vantage is getting (has got?) more power and torque and is, by all accounts, a wholly different animal.

Still, roll on the Rapide :D

Show me the boot space in an Atom, and I'll tell you if you can go shopping in it. One seat is not enough to take kids to school in, the ride and wind would get really old really fast on a long trip, but you got me on the fuel economy (Bah, who cares about economy if you can afford a V8 in the first place?). Of course you'll want music to listen to, especially if you drive for half an hour to work every day like me. (A full hour including return trip). You'll probably look like less of a try hard in the XF too.:p :)

Edit: How does a go kart win design awards? Maybe I don't need to pull over 2 Gs in corners to have more fun, and the right foot won't heat you up unless you use it to over heat the engine and then sit beside it. The right foot won't legally cool you down either.
