The McLaren F1 GTR Race Car(Just got it today) is like beyond fast and it turns corners like rubbing butter on bread(that's a good thing).

but the only other car(s) that may give it trouble is the GT by Citroën Prototype & Race Car.

Are there any other cars that are just as good the McLaren?

Both the Ford GT LM Spec II's (Race Car and Test Car) are good.

A maxed out Nissan Xanavi Nismo GT-R '08 is faster than the McLaren F1, and I love its sound.

+1, I have been using this car on the latest seasonal, at 680bhp and 650pp it can run 6:15 times with ease. I have both the f1 gtr and xanavi nismo gtr. Anybody want to borrow either car PM me if you are interested. Definetly one of my favourite 650pp cars, very good car.

As long as you don't consider detuned, power limited and ballasted LMP cars. The Fina McLaren, Pagani models, Ford GTs and GTR TC (from DLC) rule at 650, particularly if they are tuned up to the limit.

Best car for both 650pp & 750pp races I've found so far is the BMW V12 LMR RACE CAR '99, weighs nothing & the power out of the turns is insane....

I use the 2J, GT ONE, R35 TC, F1 and Zonda LM.

I break the mold and try different cars such as the C5-R, Viper GTS-R, Z06 RM, Camaro SS RM, Camaro LM, Panoz Esperante, Fairlady Z LM, etc

To tell ya the truth I only bought the McLaren because it was the only car my Nomad Diablo couldn't catch up with.

I can catch up to BMW McLaren F1 GTR #42 Fina with my 600HP Corvette Z06(C6) Race Mod. :-)

+1 love these cars, the vipers gorgeous! And the c6 rm, both the zr1 and the zo6 are decent. As well as the zonda lm race car...

The Premium Zonda is very fast too. I have done 6:14 on The Ring.

I bought the Mclaren F1 this weekend and I don't know if it's only luck or something but since then, I keep winning the Seasonal Event B-Spec Susuka race(1st place @ 1,000,039$) Compared to 2nd and some times 3rd with BMW...

I need to guide him more with the BMW and not with the Mclaren.

But as a personal preference, I like the BMW V12 more, what a car!👍

I use a raw Zonda R and it works well. Racing soft tires and tuned works like a charm.

I like to try several different cars for the ring A-Spec 650pp and lately I tried a car that I used to let aside, the Chaparral 2D. Cause when I use a Chaparral it's usually the 2J. I gotta say, in addition to win the race against the BMW F1, I have an absolute great time:dopey: When you get used to it you can place the rear while breaking before every turn. It handles great an its sound is awesome. The replays are fun to watch too. Whoever didn't try it yet should give it a go.

So far the McLaren F1 been the quickest i tried for the seasonal Nurburging 650pp, still need to retest but i got 5:47 out of it, i'll have to test more cars like the xanavi nismo GT-R '08.

Well I use either the ZondaLM or the Stealth GR-R form 2.0 update. Will beat the McLaren on Rs every time...

Excluding massively de-tuned cars, I agree the F1 GTR is the fastest I've found. Most other race cars seem to be in the range of about 7-10 seconds slower on the Nurb.

One exception - the Z06 RM was showing some interesting potential as I got a time that was only about 3 seconds slower than the McLaren! Though it requires the right setup. I want to try building one without the engine upgrades and see how it compares. It's about 10mph faster on the straights but a little harder to control, as expected.

I still don't have the 2J though  ... and of course the R35 TC is up there, but it's a troll car so it doesn't count :p

Chaparral 2J wipes the floor with anything between 600PP and 650PP because PD seem to have underestimated how significant its fan is which is why it tops TTs whenever its given a chance.

The 2J is the extreme choice :sly: but I usually prefers the R35 TC wich is more controllable specially in twisted tracks (at least to me, the 4 gears of the 2J made me mad sometimes).

I think it actually has 3 gears but that doesn't bother because it is incredibly fast in all areas and it changes direction like a fat clumsy dog which makes it fun. I've never drove the R35 TC but it seems to do well in TTs, most japanese cars in this game are very easy to drive.

I gotta go back to gt quick before the mclaren disappears from the OCD! But first, to prestige on mw3...

Just beat the McLaren & Zonda double threat with the Z06 RM! (on R/H tires) Was quite a bit dirtier than my win with the McLaren vs McLaren because with the Zonda in the mix, the opponents are tougher to pass. 6:28 after bumping off the McLaren at the very end. Phew. :scared:

Had to set controller sensitivity up to 3, otherwise it's got too much "understeer".

mike_gt3, I'd be curious to know what you can do with one of the Vette RMs!
