Best Car for 680PP Races?

I managed to do to 630 with the tuned elise, but its just not quick enough to keep up with the 680PP cars, I've tried with Ford GT, Mines R34, I'm saving up for the Amuse S2000 now but if theres a better car I can use???

tried that already, the pp wont go upto 680 so i cant keep up on the long straights

The Mine's GT-R can do it, as can the Ford GT LM. The Amuse is in the same class with those, I suggest practising as boring as it sounds. You have capable cars which pinpoints the problem quite effectively.
