DukeThe problem with these threads is that it doesn't account for all the different conditions you may come across. The Pescarolo Yada Yada 27 may be great at creaming the AI, but it's hopeless on dirt and it's too much for 80% of the races.
So I have to say there is no best car in GT4
The Faux Formula 1 car is going to be the 'best'. My point was that even the road racing conditions are so different that there is on one 'best' car. Is the Pescarolo the 'best' car for the Beginner Mid Engine Cup?
No.
Unless your idea of fun is to just scream around the track as fast as possible or beat the AI no matter what, and you're not interested in actually racing, there will never be one 'best' car.
the minolta is the fastest car in this game when fully tuned and upgraded! honest truth, regardless what fanboys say.Kung PaoC60 or R8. F the minolta!
ToronadoI wouldn't say the group C cars if you're going to do Le Sarthe I because they weren't desinged with the kinks in mind. Quite frankly, the only car that come close to the Audi R8 is the big Bentley and the Toyota GT1, and even then it is barely a contest. For heavens sake, though, stay far, far away from the Panoz GTR-1 and the Nissan R390 GT1. They can both be upstaged by the Corvette C5-R and the Viper GTS-R and they cost 1/4th as much. The Pescarolo Judd and the Pescarolo Peugot are pretty evenly matched (Peugot saves tires, Judd goes alittle faster). The Puegot 907 is a revvy car but has a poor transmission (it also cost a million less, so...). The Mazda 787B has history and doesn't weigh anything, and it also cost a million less but also has a crappy tranny. Aw screw it. HPA Motorsports Golf R32. $31,000 and it has 550 HP. Figure a better price for power ratio then that. Buy 150 of them with your 4.5 million. 👍
chinkoDTM: the Alfa 155 with just an oil change is absolutely brilliant
JGTC: the Motul 350Z
group C: the 787B or the Mercedes Sauber C9
LMP: pescalarolo!!!
