Hi guys.

Does anybody know, which is the best paint chip to get the wheels of cars looking as close as possible to something like this???

Cheers

Well, it doesn't have to be those specific wheels, I was just wondering, which "cheap" paint chip, people use here to paint the wheels of cars in black.

I tried some Nissan dark gunmetal grey, but they look a bit too shiny/metallic, if you know what I mean...

Problem is, I wanted to paint the car in matt black too :(
I'm sure guys here paint normal stock wheels in black (even if it's not matt), just wanted to know which one would be the cheapest way around, with a reasonable result :)

Just use any colour called Black. Many of them do not appear glossy on wheels anyway. Or if you could ask in the marketplace to trade for some Matt or Matte Black paint chips if you want to make sure they're not shiny.

If you want to have them somewhere between black and dark gray, perhaps you could try the Dark Pewter Metallic chip from the Honda CR-Z, used those myself for the wheels of some cars although maybe a bit too shiny for your taste.
A bit lighter in shade is the Dark Silver chip from either Minis or you could try the Gunmetal from the Lotus Esprit (although that's a bit more expensive).
If you want them matte whilst contrasting with a matte black body, maybe you could use the Matte Dark Silver chip if you can get hold of it (maybe in the marketplace section). :)

Thanks guys for the tips and advice.
Altho, after much messing about and money wasting... I've come to the comclusion that the daihatsu cohen black mica is probably the cheapest option :)

If metallic black is too shiny then a 'solid' black maybe best. someone above mentioned dark grey matte which i think i have on at least one of my accounts which if u wish to add me i can check and send through rather quickly
