Hi Everyone,
I just did my best comeback in GT5. in FGT race 3 not sure of the name, but i was leading early for the first 3 laps then spun out and was down to 3rd then lap after lap i would lose a spot or 2.
Lap 8, 22 seconds down and in 6th spot, i thought just get close to the next guy and end of lap 10 i was 5th and still 20 seconds down.
Lap 16, im in 3rd and chasing 2nd who is 4 seconds ahead, i whip out my fastest lap time, 1.14.871 and close to gap to 2nd and first.
Lap 19, im in second and 2 seconds behind first.
Lap 20, Final lap, 2nd sector i hit the lead and i keep it to win by .344 :)


I wanna know your best comebacks
 
Ferrari Seasonal, I spin out on Lap 5 on R246 or whatever it's called. I overtake 1st place on the very final turn by drafting him <3
 
well done :) im still on a hype from my comeback and i won the tournament too without doing last 2 races :P saved a hour of racing
 
Yeah, I won by 5 points on my FGT Championship as the last 2 races were rainy, I skipped them XD
 
I was behind by over 5 minutes after 5-6 hours due to a wet track and a badly tuned transmission in the Nurburgring 24H; then I overtook first at the 11 hour mark and had an 8.5 minute lead by the end of the race...all the while driving a GTR V-spec '09 against Le Mans class race cars.
 
These kind of scenarios are very common in the FGT Championship series due to very strong rubber banding and AI temperament going down as they get ahead. At Monza, I spun out on the 17th lap at Monza, went right down to 12th place, and by the beginning of the 19th lap, was back in front, but I could never get more than a 2 second lead over the AI.
 
I was 1 and a half laps down in the frist 12 hours of 24 @ le mans.I got the lap back around when the sun started to rise. I ended up taking the lead with 4 hours to go and never looked back. Audi R10 all aids off abs1.

I was doing the last f1 challenge special event, the custom track. I was dominating the race and every lap pushing for a faster lap time. Then on lap 8 I pushed a little to hard and crashed out, ending up in last place. I fought back for the final 1.5 laps and drafted the leader onto the main straight. I passed him with a lead of 0.009 seconds and achieved a trophy. Unfortunately I did all of this on my friends PS3 so I have to do that trophy again at my place. We saved the replay though, it was epic.
