Best cruising car?

I think the Mark IV Supra is a great cruiser; manual (automatic is sometimes better, but on this occasion it's not and I'll explain why).

You're cruising along in 6th Gear, 70-100MPH nice and gently eating up the miles. Then, you drop it into 3rd/4th and feel the whoosh of the turbos as you rocket into the tunnels of SSR7. :)
 
In my opinion, there's no great cruising car. Everyone has there own preferences. For example, I enjoy cruising in my Isotope Green Wills VS, my baby blue SL55 (gets me into a lot of trouble) and my Lexus IS300 Sportcross. I love cruising in quirky, uncommon cars. :D

Same here... honorable mention to my JDM oldies. Love my super low Honda Life Stepvan (usually works as a hotdog/hamburger van!) :)

And its so low that leaves sparks where it goes.

BTW korza I think I have something for you. Been so busy, my deliveries are screwed up. :indiff:

Exactly this, As i have said before, it depends on what you type of cars you like, also the track you are on can influence the car choices, as hot hatchs on tight city circuits can be more fun at 60-70mph than a supercar at those speeds.

Isotope Green Toyota Will VS? Just wow... First the car itself, since it's one of those wierd cars that for some odd reason every GT player knows, but that they never have in their garage. Second, the color :lol:

The SL55 however is an obvious, but nonetheless, great choice.

For some reason, I've always loved the VS. I think its because I seen (and sat in) one when I was young. I've had someone call it a hairdresser's car. They changed their mind after it gave their R32 a hiding on the touge. It even has the stock 4-speed gearbox. :lol:

My SL also has the stock gearbox. Its great for cruising, but when it'll do 243mph when you really need to get somewhere. :D The same goes for my purple XKR.

Currently, I'm working on a Yashio Factory Vitz RS and a Technospirits MR-S for the touge and for cruising. :p
 
I will try out the SL55 also. Too bad the convertible top doesn't work online :(. Do I need to fully modify the car? Oh yeah, Kprza, let me know if there's a cruise room coming up 👍

Very! I was in a 70mph lobby doing 240 one time and I was never caught. :lol:

Any colour is good. When I built mine, I wanted to look kinda relaxing. I painted it DLC Pasteltone 002 and painted the wheels white. I think it looks pretty cool. And parked next to my crazy Plum Purple XKR it looks very cruisy..

That's the only thing I could think of about that car because I turned into a drift car and most of the time I don't use 8th gear until I go to a cruise room
 
My Toyota Supra. It's fun, and can be fast if you want it to be. When you floor it you can feel all 725 HP kick in.

I like the 2000GT along with the E-Type. They are very good cars for cruising.

McLaren MP4-12C has working clock, working odometer (that counts online distance too, even if they were not in a race!) + working trip meter. In my taste it's a bit too much muscle for cruising, but with traction control it's alright.

I also think that the DLC cars has a lot of working instruments, need to double-check that though...

If you want an awesome cockpit view, I think that the Inifiti coupe concept is pretty nice. It doesn't have any side view mirrors or windscreen wipers though.
 
I can see that the SL55 is one of the best cruising cars. I also just bought a stock 307 Convertible, not bad too. I need to purchase an ISF. I love those 8 speeds.

Like you need 760 HP to cruise,lol. But hey, if it sounds good :dopey:. I thought the Cobra sounded best with Sports Exhaust, so I´ll give the racing one a try. most of the times the racing exhaust don´t have the best sounds, wich is quite realistic and logical actually.

Any Muscle or Performance Sedan is best for cruising imo

Muscle are literally nothing in GT5 as compared to what they are IRL. Sound or performance.

The extra HP is so that you can run away from the cops :sly: , and 764 HP on a 918 KG body is just perfect for evasion.

Sorry guys, I will try to have a room tomorrow or Sunday, this time, it will be a serious room. It will stand by the GTPlanet Good Cruisers Association rules, Korza can provide a link if need be 👍. Hopefully, by that time, I'll have my new ISF and my Toyota 2000GT '67 will be ready to go on the road. (it has 98,000 km).
