Best Drifting Games...

Bleh, GT3 hands down. Well, for now, just wait till GT4 comes out.

As physics go, i'd say GT3 is good for exhibition drifting and i've heard LFS is good as well. As for actual touge games, i'm still playing Kaido Battle 2 although the physics are dummed down a little it's still a great game with loads of cars and courses.

Is Battle Gear 3 any good?

Gran Turismo 3. Hands and Legs down :D

I was going to say V-Rally on playstation1, but then thats just taking the mick

The physics are alright. It seems a bit similar to Battle Gear, but more drift-friendly as in you can really make the rear loose in turns (no, not like the Initial D games :p). I lost my copy for a year now so I don't remember too much from it in terms of physics. It's a fun game... but a bit too short though :(

Sega GT 2002 for Xbox. It's like the xbox version of GT3, only with less cars and slightly less customization. Far fewer tracks too. PGR2 is too Midtown Madness 3-y -- which means ''elastic-bandy''. That and you cant physically break loose and use wheelspin to your advantage in PGR2...the cars just don't do it. all you can do is e-brake and "powerslide" your way thru. I think NFSU/NFSU2/SRS r the funnest to drift in, with Sega GT 2k2 being the most realistic. Or maybe the warthog in Halo. Thats pretty damn fun too.

:sly: For me, it's gotta be Outrun 2. Sure, there are other games that do the drift just as properly, but in Outrun 2, it's all about the feel, baby. It's just so natural, so right, and oh-so cool. Also, Ridge Racer is also a great runner-up for best drift in my book. :sly:

GT3 top of the list especially since we can do hybrids. Following GT3 would be
2. Kaido Battle 2
3. NFSU2
4. NFSU1
5. GTC2001
6. GTC2002
7. Battle gear 3

I was playing the Proluge verion of GT4 a couple days ago, and i notices that they killed the e-break effect. Like it doesn't even seem that the tires lock up at all.

hi im JAZZiE!! whos this?

Ladies and Gentleman, say hello to Mr. Bi-polar.

I'd say NFSU2 was an overall better game...but NFSU1 had better drifting. However incredibly unrealistixc it is, you can break easier and stay sideways longer, and you have a longer time to link them of almost 2 and a half seconds. Good choices.

Hmm.. what about
Ridge Racer
Super GT (Sega arcade game, known as Scud Race in Japan)
Daytona 1 and 2
Those are fun arcade games with drifting elements in it, kind of like Outrun 2 :)
